Outstanding Management and staff

Our stay at City Lodge Hotel Hatfield this past weekend was nothing short of exceptional. As a frequent guest, I have always appreciated the quality and consistency of this establishment, but this visit truly exceeded all expectations.

I had to undergo a small medical procedure during the weekend, and from the moment we arrived, Thabang was incredibly attentive, compassionate, and accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable at all times, making every effort to assist with our needs during what could have been a stressful experience. His warm personality, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel completely at ease and truly welcomed. He is an absolute asset to the hotel and undoubtedly management material.

The entire staff complemented this experience with their friendliness and professionalism, and the premises themselves were immaculate — neat, tidy, and exceptionally well maintained throughout our stay.

We did experience a concern on our first night, which I discussed with the General Manager, Mr Mdu Mnyakeni, the following morning. I was deeply impressed by the manner in which he handled the situation. He listened attentively, treated the matter with seriousness and professionalism, and went well above and beyond what would normally be expected to ensure the remainder of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. His calm, experienced, and solution-driven approach speaks volumes about his leadership and dedication to guest satisfaction.

I am genuinely in awe of both Thabang and Mr Mdu Mnyakeni for the outstanding way in which they handled everything. Their level of care, professionalism, and commitment to excellence is rare to find and deserves recognition.

I would wholeheartedly recommend City Lodge Hatfield to anyone looking for superior service, outstanding hospitality, excellent facilities, and a team that truly cares about their guests. Thank you once again.

Pros:

I have noted a concern there was no water for the toilet and bath facility and no drinking water in the room the bottle was empty and we told to fill to ourselves.
