Great breakfast and one of the best restaurants in Lisbon.

The hotel was a real disappointment! As a long time fan of the chain this property was awful. First, our room was next to a night club that is everyday and the noise is inescapable from your room. The room was also ridiculously small for $400 plus a night. Two, the breakfast restaurant service was disorganized and the lady waitresses were rude! We had breakfast for five days and aside from the gentleman who was incredible the rest of staff needs major hospitality and organization training. I speak multiple languages and understood perfectly what the staff was saying. The bright spot for this place is that it has a central location. That said, there was many other five star options at lower prices that I have tried in the past that were far superior. The reception staff was incredible and nice but they can’t solve for the issues I described.

Centric neighbourhood of Lisbon. Cozy atmosphere and hospitality. The restaurant was full of locals, good sign of its quality. Fruits in the room as complement, as well as a large bottle of alkaline water.

Best Hotel in Lisbon. Amazing location, hidden from noisy areas, beautiful courtyard and breakfast. Fantastic room and service. The team in the Hotel where the best. Cant wait to go back.

Valverde adds to the pleasure of being in Lisbon. Discretely located in the upscale but busy Avenida da Liberdade, the moment you enter the hotel, which is almost invisible from the outside, you discover a rare combination of intimacy and sophistication. The building, in townhouse style, was recently renovated with elegance and attention to detail. The layout of the hotel, with multiple living rooms, encourages you to just relax and admire the beautiful surroundings. Valverde has a very small gym and swimming pool, a lovely restaurant with indoor and patio tables. The food is high quality. Last, the staff also elevates the experience with their friendly attitude and professionalism. I would definitely come back since this hotel is not just lodging in Lisbon but becomes an essential part of your visit.

Exceptional customer service. Only weird thing I was asked to tip when I checked out. I have never experienced that before.

Hotel Valverde is located in a great area for seeing the highlights of beautiful Lisbon. The staff is extremely professional and eager to accommodate any requests. The decor is charming with each room being different. The outdoor bar/restaurant is fabulous! Bar food and the dinner menu is excellent. My only recommendation is that the carpet is in need of replacement in some rooms and public areas. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel!!

Loved the hotel. Decor was lovely and the amenities too. Staff were great - friendly and helpful. We didn't dine there but the breakfasts were excellent and the dining room is beautiful. Location couldn't be better as it's on the main road where all of the designer shops are and is a short walk to the main areas - Restauradores, Rossio, Barrio Alto etc.

What a great fine for us. Very nice hotel with an outstanding restaurant. Customer Service was over the top. The staff really makes the difference at this hotel. Super location as well - especially for shopping.

Wonderful experience. Great location. Staff was very kind and receptive. Rooms very nice. Excellent breakfast included. And the best butter cookies in the reception area!

Did not meet our expectations. Few members of the staff seemed to be focused on customer service…and some staff were in fact rude. Expected R&C service and was not apparent.

Upon check in we learned that they upgraded us to a jr suite The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable The staff was outstanding They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and really gave you the feeling that they truly wanted to help to make your vacation the best it could be The breakfast buffet was good and everything tasted very fresh The outdoor dining area was gorgeous! I would definitely stay here again if I return to Lisbon

We loved our experience at the Valverde! Beautiful rooms, dining area/ patio garden. We had an amazing Tuk Tuk driver Marianne and wonder restaurant recommendations. Location on Loversad was great!

The only thing that was a little of an issue was the maid service. They would come in the late afternoon when we got back from touring the city and were relaxing before
Dinner. We would hav preferred they clean the room while we were gone.

Overall great and we will come back.!

A very stylish hotel with a beautiful, bold yet tasteful combination of colors, nice mixture of new and vintage furniture. A very cozy green courtyard with a bar and a breakfast area. Breakfasts are good, although the service is slow — there aren’t many staff members, and they don’t work very efficiently. The rooms are very clean, everything works perfectly, and the beds are comfortable. The location is fantastic, especially for shopping. We stayed there as a big group of friends, and everyone was happy!

Our journey to Lisbon had been perfect after leaving Porto.
We arrived at the valverde and we were greeted by tiago who was wonderful and a great host of the hotel. The hotel is on the Main Street in Lisbon and is clean but it’s a bit off. Our room was a bit noisy but the air conditioner was hard to manage and keep it at its control. The rooms are not spacious .after tiago it seemed others didn’t want to be bothered. For two days I couldn’t get change of a 50.00 for tips.
While it wasn’t horrible it surely wasn’t memorable.

Stylish, centrally located hotel with helpful staff. The only negative was the restaurant, which, unusually for a Relais and Chateau property, wasn't good. The food was heavy and tasteless, and the music was so loud it was hard to hold a conversation. Breakfast, however, was fine.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, perfectly located and the room was amazing. The front desk staff was also incredible, very attentive and kind.

The restaurant, Bougain, is so good it’s worth the stay by itself.

An excellent hotel with beautiful historic flavour in the heart of Lisbon. The service, food, decor, rooms and public areas are magnificent.
