Very good experience overall. Lovely hotel, particularly if you enjoy places with character. It is small, in the best possible location in Lisbon, in the middle of high end shopping and dining district and easy pleasant walk away from all the main sites. The breakfast is in a very nice setting with outside sitting area in the garden if you like.
The layout takes a little getting used to, you walk up some steps from the street to somewhat unusual lobby, but the sitting rooms by the lobby for the guests are charming.
The service is great, excellent recommendations, tour of the room, help with all reservations, transportation, anything you need. Very friendly people.
I would pick a garden room, a little balcony overlooking the pool is very nice. Showers are great and the rooms are spacious.
We did not use gym or massage room, so cannot comment.
The only thing to consider is that there is definitely walking steps involved, and hallways are on the narrow side, so not ideal if you have mobility challenges. Would highly recommend to everyone else.

This is a gorgeous hotel. The outdoor lounge area is very relaxing and hard to leave. Our room was quiet, clean and beautifully curated. And service was impeccable. We had a great experience and we will certainly return.

The restaurant is equally impressive, with a well-executed menu that highlights quality ingredients and a clear sense of identity. A special mention to the General Manager, Christelle, whose warmth, professionalism, and genuine attentiveness truly elevate the experience. A truly memorable place for those who appreciate understated luxury.
Let's start with the staff: Form Paulo, the Peaky Blinders cap wearing doorman who greeted me by my name and welcomed me to the hotel, to Reuben on others doing their shifts on front desk, to the grace and poise of the impeccably presented restaurant serving staff, everyone was warm, welcoming and exceptional.
The design of the hotel is so immaculate and considered. The front lounge was styled in in such a timeless way it would never go out of fashion. The corridors even had style, with a great selection or art everywhere. The restaurant has either a tropical feel, or an Asian feel, inside and out, depending on where you choose to sit. Lunch was 10/10. Location 10/10. And my room and bed extremely comfortable.
This hotel truly deserves and lives up to Relais & Châteaux standards.

Second time to stay at Valverde. There will be a third! Wonderful hotel and perfect staff and service. Excellent location in Lisbon for sightseeing and enjoying the city.
I absolutely loved my stay at Valverde Lisboa. The hotel has a beautiful boutique atmosphere that feels both elegant and intimate. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive and welcoming throughout my visit. The breakfast was also wonderful, with a lovely setting.
