Great hotel.

Rarely do i enjoy writing a review of a hotel because most are good but few are extraordinary. The staff (Peter at reception, Owen at breakfast) made every moment a relaxed and memorable stay. Comfortable bed, spacious rooms, a breakfast buffet better than any other I've enjoyed in 36 countries! Highly recommend!

Really like the look and feel of this hotel. Have stayed here before when in Nairobi. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Food consistently good. I feel like the food is a bit overpriced but it is definitely good and good portions. The alcoholic beverages are quite reasonable though with the exception of the wine. A glass of wine is very expensive and overpriced. A great experience overall

The staff here are amazing , very hospitable, kind and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and the gardens are lovely - I highly recommend (traveling with family and friends for safari vacation)

Please note there is building work underway at present and at times it was very noisy outside. Sitting next to the pool or sundeck was not great.

Fantastic staff and wonderful hospitality!

As usual, the staff were welcoming and helpful - I was the first client in one of the newly renovate rooms - Happy that the renovations maintain the individuality of the hotel and so tastefully done. Loved the simple but tasteful decor and bathroom and the coffee machine ( only in more expensive rooms I think).
My complaints: was the pillows that are so huge and too thick for a good night's sleep. A soft pillow in the cupboard would be good the internet in my room (411) was very poor and spotty.
I ended up spending a week there as other plans did not work out - the restaurants were all good, the usual plentiful breakfast and as I said in the beginning, the lovely staff.

This a wonderful hotel with staff that makes you feel that you are at ‘home’. The beautiful gardens and pool make it feel like an oasis in the rush of Nairobi.

If you need to stay in Nairobi and feel like you are not in the city then the Fairview is the place. We cannot say enough about the hotel and wonderful staff who make this hotel even more special.
