The person at the front desk went above and beyond to resolve an issue with my reservation. The hotel was VERY quiet considering proximity to the busy area. 10 - 15 minute walk to Memory Lane and Shinjuku Station. We’ll stocked convenience stores nearby. Twin bed room was small but comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Great location, room was enormous and staff were super friendly
We had two rooms for our party of four and really appreciated the wonderful atmosphere plus great accommodations. We ate breakfast every morning in the hotel restaurant with the food and service outstanding. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location and the overall experience!
Fantastic location and service. Didn't like the pillows.
The property was extremely dirty. We had dirty sheets and BLACK MOLD in the restroom / shower. It was disgusting and the staff did nothing about it. We wanted a refund and to move hotels they were extremely uncooperative and refused the refund. I have pictures of the black mold dirty rooms. Just do not stay here.
Good experience overall. Good location. Improveable breakfast
This hotel is conveniently located about 8 minute walk from the west exit of Shinjuku station. Many popular yakitori joints, ramen and convenience stores are within walking distance. My family felt safe walking back to the hotel around midnight. The staff spoke English, at least some basic levels and most of them were helpful except for one guy who had an attitude when I respectfully asked for assistance. As much as the hotel was convenient, the room was not only very small it had a weird stench. The entire 3 plus days we stayed, the room smelled so bad that we ended up spending most hours away from staying in the hotel. When I complained about this to the front desk, they changed the sheets, and yet the room still smelled like old socks. Later I found out from the cleaning staff that the hotel does not change the mattress coversheets. Then I realized it was the mattress itself. Even I smelled like crap after sleeping in that mattress. Also, the bathroom still smelled like urine even after cleaning. The entire experience spoiled our mood and started wondering if all the hypes about Japan being a clean and hospitable country was really true. Maybe it was just that location or maybe it was just the room. What I did not understand was the staff did not do enough to address our situation.
In addition, the room that was assigned to us was right across from a cemetery which was not mentioned at all on the hotel webs or Expedia website. Every time we looked out, we saw tombstones.
Close to the 'LOVE' statue from where two of our Tokyo tours started.
Staff were very helpful.
Beakfast was very culturally diverse and all items tasty.
Only criticism would be the floor under the beds could have benefitted from a vacuum.
Otherwise, would have been a 5 out of 5.
Staffs respond quick
Great location just 5 mins from Shinjuku station. Several dining options within walking distance too. Amazing staff. Laundry machines came in handy for long stays.
Lots of eating places around and train station exit within short walking distance.
The property is lined with eateries and drinking joints.
The panoramic triple room was great. Biggest room we had while in Japan and at an excellent value for Tokyo. Nice view, pretty quiet neighborhood but still very close to Shinjuku. And plenty of good food within 2 blocks 2 Family Marts within 2 blocks of the hotel. Staff was friendly and kind. Laundry room is open 24/7. They will watch your luggage for a bit. Didn't try the restaurant. But good hotel!
Access good and convenience
This hotel was rather inexpensive, so the room was small and the amenities were few. But, I couldn't expect more because of the inexpensive price.
Staff was helpful and accommodating. Hotel is about 10 min walk from the metro.
Great location and reasonable price, but the room was exceptionally small—even by Tokyo standards. It was difficult to open our suitcases fully, which made moving around a bit challenging.
Hotel
Very nice place to stay after landing in Tokyo
The bathroom floor was very unclean. Good location
