Das Hotel würden wir wieder buchen - aber ohne das Frühstück
Pros:

Relativ ruhige Lage, bequeme Betten, Zimmer ausreichend groß, freundliches Personal

Cons:

Es wurde ein komplettes Frühstück angeboten, eine eigene Wahl konnte man nicht treffen. Das Frühstück war weder europäisch noch japanisch, eher eine willkürliche Zusammenstellung von nicht zueinander passenden Speisen.

Pros:

Location was good - close to wider Shinjuku, but very close to a good selection of bars, coffee shops, restaurants and convenience stores. I liked the vouchers that were provided for mini-luxuries if you had marked your room as do-not-disturb that day.

I think that for the price and location and its actually a good hotel
Pros:

Walking distance to main area of Shinjuku such as the cat billboard. Around a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway station and close to main Shinjuku station too. Clean bed and friendly staff.

Cons:

The bathroom in particular wasn't great, it had a smell of stale urine and some areas of mould on the tiles around the shower. The areas around the doorframe etc weren't cleaned. To be honest, we weren't in the room much and for the location and price it's kind of expected. The bed wasn't dirty and we didn't find the room itself to feel unclean.

Comfy, clean and centrally located.
Pros:

The hotel was simple and clean. It was also centrally located and not too far from the subway. It is also great that the hotel is near the big park. Would stay again.

Cons:

Room was a little small but that's common among all hotel rooms. It is a challenge to keep suitcases for two people open.

Very convenient for a city break in Tokyo
Pros:

Very convenient location close to Shinjuku station, so easy to get around Tokyo on the metro. Very comfy pillows and bed. Very nice shower.

Cons:

Small rooms but to be expected in the centre of Tokyo. 1 corner of the room right next to where I was sleeping had some mould to it. The rest of the room was very clean.

Cleanliness and polite staff

Cons:

The size of the room was so very disappointing and claustrophobic. If we had brought in suitcases there was no room to open them and store them. Luckily we had sent them by courier to our next destination. There was no room to even open our hand luggage or store them. There was an approx 9 inch step up to get into the bathroom with no hand handles for support when climbing up or stepping down. So dangerous for the elderly or unstable. Overall no consideration at all for tourists with luggage.

Pros:

Good position in shinjuku. Staff kind and prepared, with good english. Even got and upgraded room. Room services excelent. The bigger bathroom in japan at this point.

Cons:

Breakfast only in ficed set: it was good, but there are noi choices.

Basic motel. Simple and clean.
Pros:

On the quieter side of Shinjuku with lots of great restaurants near by.

Cons:

Breakfast was the same everyday with no real choice. Curry and bread.
