Went to book dinner and was told they were full. Very disappointed as when staying you expect to be able to eat in the hotel. Breakfast was very nice the next day.

The price
A really lovely place. Great location. Very clean, on entering the hotel & our room. Staff were so helpful & friendly. We even got a teeny sea view from our room window!? Room facilities were great, shower was lovely & powerful, bed was comfy. Really nice bar area too.
The only negative I have, & its almost negligible ….. when we arrived, at 12.30, we were meeting friends. We asked where the bar was, so we could get a drink & wait for our friends. Unfortunately, the bar didnt open until 4pm. As i said teeny negative, & lets face it, Whitby is NOT short of pubs/bars. The reception staff recommended a pub that we hadn’t actually been to before (The Fleece) we slowly made our way there, stopping at The Angel (amongst many others) literally across the road from the Resolution.
