Pros:

Great interior, comfy beds, nice clean shared facilities. Lots to explore within the hotel, has lots of character. Easy to check-in despite being unstaffed.

Cons:

Very loud due to location so close to rail tracks, but they provided complimentary earplugs.
I found the communication from the hotel a bit too frequent.

Nice, comfortable, historic hotel. It was clean, with good wifi and easy to navigate checkin.
Pros:

Location is right in the old town so historic. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the historic nature of the hotel. Restaurants on site so convenient. Enjoyed the balcony terrace.

Cons:

Location is right next to Auto parts store and close to train tracks. There is a bar in the basement so a bit loud, However, they give you ear plugs which was helpful.

Great value and very convenient.
Pros:

Location. Ease of check in. Instructions very clear. Great restaurant right downstairs (though not sure if they’re at all related).

Cons:

We knew there was only a tub but a shower would be a great upgrade.

Self-Service at the Peak Hotel
Pros:

The charm and the size of the rooms. It was very clean.

Cons:

The hair dryer didn't work and since it's a seld-service hotel, there is no on- site and no front desk..You have to send them a message and wait for them to return it. I had to.go buy a hair dryer or show up at a meeting with wet hair. There was a book on the night stand, but the information was wrong about who to contact. The extensions to the rooms were in there, but not who to call in case of an emergency. The elevator and room door lock were coded as well. I had no problem with the elevator, but twice I could not open my room door and a woman.down the hall.said their lock was the same.way and she finally got my door to open.
It's a lovely hotel, but I won't be back because I need a person to talk to when things won't work. That is a factor about it being a "good deal'.

Fantastic hotel
Pros:

Outstanding hotel. Sad it was only a stopover night. Beautiful place, cool rooms and most importantly a great manager who solved my booking mistake.

Cons:

Honestly, nothing. Great place

Best stay in Centralia is The Peak!
Pros:

The charm of this old building is lovely and the staff is very kind. We were in town for a wedding and needed to check in early and they kindly accommodated our request. In addition the attached restaurant serves huge portions and the chef salad and cranberry mimosa were great! We rented #305 2 bedroom suite, and no shower but the tub and steaming hot soak were amazing. If you’re into older historic boutique hotels, you’ll love it!

Cons:

The train noise is real but it’s part of the charm a noose machine sound on your phone or the provided ear plugs were just fine.

Great experience
Pros:

Easy check in check out.

Cons:

At the parking lot, it would be great to include a sign that it is the right parking for the hotel as there are some warning signs not to park there, so we were hesitant to park.

Pros:

The location was great in that it was in the city center. A lot of services within walking distance. And being amidst the history of the town as well as the hotel's property was most interesting. Got to visit my great-grandfather's burial site. The Berry Fields Cafe was a convenient and pleasant addition. Great food and very generous helpings!
We also visited the museum in Chehalis where I learned more about my great-grandfather's story.

Cons:

Our room had a nice clawfoot bathtub, but no shower. I was a little confused about the check-in process being done via messaging, but once I got the communication it worked out just fine.

Went there because of a wedding was held there.
Pros:

I like that it was historical.

Cons:

What I didn’t like no tv, pull out bed was horrible, u had to communicate through email since staff is not there all the time. For the price you could have stayed in a nice motel/hotel.
