Baymont by Wyndham Erie

This is my third time at this property. I did not mean to choose this property due to my last experience. Indeed, the woman who checked me in had a bad attitude as she remembered me from the previous visit. The first visit, there weren’t any wash cloths or towels. The second visit, the room door was left opened. I requested another room as I did not feel that was safe. This woman gave me such a negative attitude, stated that the cleaning staff must have left it opened after cleaning, gave me another room and stated that it was the only other available room. Her attitude implied that if this one wasn’t satisfactory then I could go somewhere else. In fact, that door was left opened as well. I choose to stay because I was tired and sick and had to work the next day. I did not have any intention of going back. I am not sure how I mistakenly chose here again but I, again, had been traveling all day and had a migraine. This time I was checked in by a gentleman. However, when I was ready for bed, I discovered that the bed I was going to sleep in had dirty sheets and the headboards of both beds were very dusty. I tried to call the desk but no one answered. I tried off and on for about 5-10 minutes without success. I slept in the other bed but it was an extremely uncomfortable night. I did tell the front desk clerk the next morning. Housekeeping did come in to change the sheets on the one bed. However, housekeeping did not clean the room. I will say that someone came in the change the trash cans. They did not bother to clean, sweep, vacuum or mop the bathroom floor. There was hair behind the bathroom door that was clearly not my hair. I don’t know who runs this property but they need to check behind and train the staff. I will give a compliment to the morning front desk agent. I forgot to ask his name. He was very responsive and tried to help. However, your housekeeping staff is terrible.

Le drain de la douche fonctionnait très peu. Donc on avait les pieds dans 6 pouces d’eau à la fin de la douche. Il était un peu tard pour faire faire venir la maintenance car on se préparait à dormir.

The only thing was the heater was a little noisy

The bathroom shower curtain was filthy at the bottom. The part that goes in the tub. One bed when I pulled the sheets back to get in , well there was red dots/ stains on the bottom half of the sheets . To me it looked like blood that didn't come out of the sheets. On the side of same bed next to the table with the lamp , the mattress had a brown stain and the bed skirt was stained same like someone was sick. The breakfast food was almost all gone when I went down around. The only thing left was potato. So potato and yogurt and coffee was good. No water. I had to find the work out room to get a cup of water.

It didn’t have a pool.

There were black spots on the sheets. There was no soap or soap dish in the sink area. The food was bland. Some of the eating patrons used their fingers to grab food from the bread box. Gross! Maybe wrap the different breads in the future. The food attendant was not very attentive when food was low or kmapkins were empty. I had to ask for him to replenish the supply.

There was no container in the room to hold ice.

Shuttle to casino only runs on weekends. Even though it’s in walking distance , it should be available all the time .

Breakfast could have been better.

Everything was fine.
