Pros:

Good comfortable hotel in a secluded location surrounded by the woods. Lovely Onsen & good breakfast & dinner buffet with plenty of variety of Japanese delicacies. Comfortable room, good wifi and free parking. Free water, soda & coffee on offer.

Cons:

Staff speaks little English but communicating wasn’t a problem.

Amazing Hotel in the heart of Akita
Pros:

Everything was perfect, especially the fine gentleman that helped us with our food preferences and taking the time to explain which dishes were more appropriate for us and which were not. Really appreciate that.

Cons:

A shower in the room would have been nice, but the Onsen had an amazing view of the woods, definitely visiting again when passing by Akita
