Quiet clean accommodation
Pros:

Excellent location. Vkedn roomy accommodation

Cons:

Strangjy it was a little hard to find entrsnce as very discrete sign in window on main street and reception was restaurant bar.

Lovely hotel room but so warm! Wonderful breakfast and close by parking.
Pros:

Great looking bedroom, wonderful breakfast and perfect location for us.

Cons:

Our bedroom was nice but it was so so hot up there. We were on the top floor and hardly slept a wink due to it being so warm (even with the fan provided on and the window open).

Recommend as place to stay on Way of the Roses route
Pros:

Really friendly welcome. Good secure storage for bicycles. Comfortable en-suite room

Cons:

Disturbed by some traffic noise in our room

Cons:

I would say this was overpriced for the services. no air con, no iron in room, no manned desk over night- door code didnt work getting in past the restaurant shutting hours. For a small town and the above I wouldn't expect to pay more then £100 a night.

Always reliable / weather permitting !
Pros:

Stay regularly here - very few places provide bottled water, drinks and biscuits etc

Good breakfast

Cons:

Too hot ! Fan was ineffective as the window only opens a tiny bit

Great central location
Pros:

Center location. Exchange street is 2 mins walk away and has a free all day and overnight car park
The young girl who checked us in was very friendly and as we're 3 cyclists staying overnight let us keep the bikes in a secure room too.
Nice evening meal and breakfast too. The young girl was smiling constantly and very helpful . She is a Gem for your hotel .

Room was very warm but due to high temperature outside i suppose

Stood outside for nearly a hour ringing them no answer staffers hotel and thy ey don’t give you the right numbers to ring or in the window the numbers are wrong and when a local did ring them for me she was rude

Breakfast service on the second morning. Had to ask for toast, finished breakfast before we got it, felt invisible.

Friendly welcoming staff…Clean tidy and comfortable beds… breakfast and dinner perfect…
Pros:

On entering breakfast room was greeted by a member of staff and shown to a table food was ordered and arrived piping hot and quickly…..staff were really friendly and welcoming…the breakfast / dinner room has a nice cosy feel to it was clean light and airy…

Cons:

No car parking facilities on site…..Although there were car parking areas near by they were all pay and display this adds to the cost of the room when staying for a few nights….It would be a nice thought to have some kind of discount for overnight parking….
