Lovely reception and excellent room. Free parking and choices in the village to eat. Shower tap needed attention but apart from that a nice place to stay

Lovely staff and a seamless registration process. I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. It was nice, and unusual, to have enough tea, coffee and milk in the room to avoid the embarrassment of asking for more!

Lovely friendly staff nice location

Convenient for the Haynes Museum and The Air museum. The rooms not as nice as we expected. Very dark and dated. The toilet was loose on the floor and there was no hot water in the sink, our room didn’t have curtains but shutters which meant if you made it private you couldn’t have any fresh air and it was very hot! Breakfast was okay. Beautiful wisteria growing in the courtyard

An excellent hotel for a one night stay

The restaurant was good but breakfast understandably wasn’t available at 7.00am on a Sunday (I could have had cereal and toast) . This didn’t impact on giving an exellent rating

Lovely country cottage feel about the place

Nice clean room with functional bathroom. Good food although there was a function on the night I stayed which meant having to adjust my dining time a little earlier than I would have chosen.

Nice friendly family hotel…

Great property, staff and room. Only issues were the 2 single beds put together as a double and road noise. Also suggest better ventilation and insulation around wooden double glazed windows.

Nothing to dislike, everything was fine

I visited here for my girlfriend’s birthday they even left a card and chocolate outside the room.
It was just a really amazing stay.

Restaurant area not very atmospheric but food was good.

Room was standard. Bed was cosy. Liked the view out the window.

Random internet search found this place while we were between homes. Everybody in the hotel was so friendly and this made the stay really enjoyable. We arrived fairly late in the afternoon and were tired so did not want to go out for food and we were so pleased we didn’t as the restaurant food food was absolutely great. Home cooked with a great selection. We would very happily stay again.
