For an overnight transit stay before an international flight, the hotel delivered exactly what many travellers need most: convenience, cleanliness, safety, and operational simplicity. While not positioned as a luxury experience, it performed well in providing a practical and stress-free stopover close to the airport. What Worked Well

The biggest strength of the experience was proximity and ease of access for airport travel, making early departures and late arrivals significantly less stressful.
* Efficient Check-In:
The arrival experience was quick, uncomplicated, and suitable for tired travellers needing immediate rest.
* Cleanliness & Functionality:
Rooms were simple but clean, with the essentials well maintained. The experience felt structured around practicality rather than indulgence.
* Safety & Ease:
For short-stay transit guests, the environment offered reassurance, predictability, and a relatively calm
However, a notable customer experience gap emerged around the dining situation. Upon arrival, the absence of dinner availability and the closure of food services created inconvenience for tired travellers arriving late. More importantly, the response to the issue felt somewhat mechanical and procedural, with limited proactive problem-solving or hospitality-driven alternatives offered to guests.
From a CX perspective, this became less about the actual absence of dinner and more about the missed opportunity for service recovery and empathy. In hospitality, especially with transit guests who may be exhausted, hungry, or unfamiliar with the area, guests often value effort and solutions as much as the service itself. Even small gestures such as:
* suggesting nearby delivery options,
* assisting with takeaway arrangements,
* offering snack alternatives,
* or showing greater ownership of the inconvenience,
could have transformed the moment significantly.

Breakfast was nothing special. The chicken sausage was awful. There should be more variety for meat eaters who do not eat pork or beef, and for vegetarians/vegans.

The toilet was not working
Friendly staff, cleanliness, safety, and a quiet area. Generally comfortable rooms. The idea of serving rusks with morning coffee in the foyer for guests is much appreciated.

Staff was friendly and rooms clean
Breakfast was nice, however there was no enough food. E,g juice wasnt refilled and other things were finished. Its like you have to come early to get everything. No much staff visibility during breakfast for us to get assistance and for staff to clean or wipe tables after people have left to allow others to sit.
