The Cube Malioboro Hotel

I'm not sure how others can give good comments and recommended this hotel. Maybe was me bad luck getting the dirty and torn room.
With the price, i expect the hotel is clean and comfortable. However, it gave me the sense of staying in motel. The room and toilet are dirty. It even have stained on the bed sheet. I didnt request for room change due to I stay just for few hours.
The only pro is there is a convenient shop opposite of the hotel.

Business trip at Yogyakarta not enough only one day but 3 days.
Stay at The Cube Hotel is my favorites, Always Special dan Selalu Istimewa.
Room Cleanliness, Delicious Breakfast Menu, Well trained staff, Enjoy Coffee at roof top while swimming.
So memorable moment every time.

Very comfortable hotel. The staff are also kind and helpful. If you go to the rooftop, you'll get a great view there for sure. The Cube Hotel Yogyakarta so very nice this place in yogyakarta. Thankyou

Room:

1. Shower problem, water so slow
2. The towel have dirty
3 AC not working properly

I was kind disappointed knowing the AC is not woking.

Hospitality overall Good, especially FDA

Actually this is a nice hotel. But seriously need maintenance and keep increase the performance

Location was great. Walking distance to the city’s attractions. Only for busy traveler. Average room. Quite comfy bed. Good shower. Bad parking space. But helpful staff. Across the street was a famous mie jogja stall. Dont choose the room on the top floor. Noisy. Maybe the outdoor unit air conditioning or the pool machine

Many time may family do vacation at Jogjakarta and always stay at The Cube Hotel , Very Nice Hotel with well trained associate .
The Hotel have stategic location near malioboro, nice swimming pool at roof top and nice breakfast menu

Overall a good stay.
Location: ok but nothing much on the surrounding
Room: size ok, bed quality ok, the hot shower works ok, but for long shower the drainage may get clogged.
Tip: try not to have road-facing rooms as to avoid road noise at night

Shopping around hotels before stay is a must but for The Cube Hotel is best choice if we go to Yogyakarta. Comfort Hotel with strategic location, great breakfast, delight coffee and nice roof top pool view.

Arrived at the night @ jogja and directly check in , It was a great stay at this hotel , room was clean and very friendly staff , using internet very fast make my business running well definitely will comeback here again , thank you jogja

This hotel's builing is great but it's too bad they don't maintain the room. The bedsheet, pillow cover, towel are bad, they need to replace all with the new one. The wall is dirty, the sink in the bathroom is dirty, hope the housekeeping can brush it very hard to clean all the sink n' shower area.

Sebenarnya tempatnya sangat nyaman. Dekat kealun2, malioboro, gembira loka. Kalau naik taksi online cuma 11-18rb. Depan hotel ada minimarket, tempat makan juga dekat. Hanya saja kamar saya kmrin remote ac nya mati jd kedinginan, gada sendal hotel, dan masih ada kertas di laci yg tulisannya kasar. Mungkin dri tamu sebelumnya. So far, so good.

I stayed only one night in The Cube Hotel. The room is not spacious, but enough for solo business traveller like me, also value for money I paid. The most important suggestions are pls repaint the wall of the room, need more lights (both in bedroom and bathroom), pls replace the towels with the new one (sorry but it looked bad), pls regularly check and clean up the AC bcs it's not really cold and noisy. However for the service (staffs) and hospitality, I can say it's very well! Thank you and I'm looking forward for your improvements. Hope can stay there again. GBU!

The staff were very nice, especially the kitchen/ restaurant who were willing to accommodate and serve when they had just closed. The location was very good and easily accessible via Gojek, taxi, etc. The room was fine but PLEASE CLEAN YOUR BATHROOM PROPERLY AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE SMELLY TOWELS. One of the first thing that throws people off when they walk into a bathroom is if the mirror and sink are not clean. Mine still had toothpaste/ marks from the previous guest and the tap handles needed a strong spray and rub clean. The towels also smelled funny so please do something about that. Overall the stay and staff were fine but the cleaning needs improvement and towels need to be changed.

The location is quite closed to the main city.. near Alun Alun Selatan and Prawirotaman..

But the facilities and the room conditions its not worthy with the price..
The Air Conditioner is not work well.. take long time to be cold.. the blanket is smelly.. and the room condition is un maintained..

The entire room is smelly. Especially the bed, sheets and pillow.
The bathroom is dirty. The towel is dirty.

There's a window in my room. And the view is the elevator 😔.

The location is great. Near prawirotaman

The feedback given by other customers is true. The hotel is run down. There are several sections and corners of the room which are not clean and inconvenient to see and use. The towel and bedsheet are also not clean. Breakfast was just okay too.

I stayed at The Cube Hotel for only a day. The room was not as spacious as it looked on the internet. The bathroom was dark. I stayed at the corner room having 2 windows and it was so hot. I had no idea it got hot because of it had 2 windows or because the air conditioner did not function well.

Not many want to say.
Here are why I was here.
Positive:
1. Good location, good price and near to Prawirotaman
2. Nice and friendly Staff
3. The room nice, big enough for 1 or two people.
4. Delicious breakfast

Negative :
1. The parking lot so limited
2. The bath room not clean enough

But anyway, that was my opinion. For the next you can improve.

My 5 days stay really not comfortable. Air-con will not work well about 1 to 2 hours at night. End up we have sleepless night. The fridge can't be used at all (seriously)! The wifi worse still. The staff wise are very friendly. So 2 rate just fine for me for this hotel.
