Loved everything. Our hosts Andy and Jo were excellent making sure our stay was first class. Jo’s breakfasts were outstanding with additional treats to order and Andy was very knowledgeable about the island and was able to recommend places to visit. We had a superb room overlooking the beach and sea. Cannot fault anything and will definitely visit again in the future.

Jo and Andy make every effort to make your visit comfortable and memorable. Great sea views, spacious comfy room. Lovely breakfast, with daily specials and delicious takeaway pastries.

An exceptional hotel. Spotlessly clean, large room and really good shower. The breakfasts were excellent, freshly cooked and generous portions.
Special mention to our hosts who went above and beyond. They really made us feel welcome. They even gave us homemade pastries to take with us when we couldn't manage them for breakfast.
There were also several little things we appreciated. Instead of a tiny pot of UHT milk there was fresh milk in a glass bottle in the fridge, as well as loads of different types of tea bags.
The hotel is really well situated right on rhe beach and close to the lift to the town as well as the Chine.
Even though the room was advertised as having a partial view of the sea, we actually found the view great which was a bonus.

Super short stay at Shoreside Inn. Everything was perfect. Our large un suite was spacious and a great big comfy bed. Each day the breakfast was freshly prepared by Jo. Different daily specials. Our room was serviced daily.

Everything, it was extremely comfortable and lovely food.
Jo and Andy were fantastic hosts making all guests feel special and thoughtful personal touches.

Such a great location next to the beach and it’s so well presented… has that feeling of the traditional seaside B&B whilst behind by clean and modern

This hotel is situated in a great location along the Shanklin sea front where we had a lovely sized room on the first floor with a great seaview. We had great hosts in Andy and Joanne on arrival, for breakfast and during our stay. Breakfast provided us with variety and tailored cooked options each day with a nice touch of having a pastries takeaway each day. Ample parking out back for guests.

Andy and Jo were fabulous hosts Andy answered all our questions on the telephone before we stayed. On arrival we were met at the hotel car park and Andy and Jo took our luggage to the room. The premises were immaculately clean and tidy. We were given all local information ie restaurants, attractions, taxis. We were so happy with our room which was very modern, super clean and tidy, it had everything we needed. The breakfasts made by Jo were lovely and tasty with so much to choose from and the freshly cooked pastries were mouthwatering. We felt really comfortable staying as Andy and Jo were so friendly and nice and couldn't do enough. We would highly recommend booking to stay at this hotel as the customer service is second to none, We will be booking to stay again next year.

Everything. Andy and Jo couldn’t do enough for you. They were so helpful, welcoming and warm. Really genuine, lovely, friendly people who instantly put you at ease.
The room at the hotel was stunning, beautiful views overlooking the sea, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and the room was spotlessly clean. Although please note: if you stay in the room with the bath - get up early to have your bath as you won’t want to get out :)
The breakfast was delicious, well presented and they catered for my dietary requirements easily (next time, I may have to buy some of Jo’s homemade jam if I can). Andy and Jo and their hotel beyond exceeded my expectations. They even provided water each day in the mini fridge with milk suitable for your requirements if you need including a nice thoughtful touch with the jelly beans on arrival.
I really can’t say enough about this place and the staff. It was the best. I 100% recommend and will definitely be back :)

The room was clean, and with some considerate supplies. For example, fresh milk was provided every day in the in-room fridge for tea, coffee, or drinking directly. The room was well ventilated, and a powerful fan was provided. We visited during a hot weekend, but did not feel any need for an air conditioner. The bathroom was cleaned to a high level that I have only seen in Japan. The small inn is run by a couple, Andy and Jo. The breakfast was prepared by Jo, right on-site, with many customised options: modest ingredients but very well cooked. They even provide bags to take away freshly-baked pastries in case you are going on a trip in a rush. Andy, a polite gentleman, provided all the in-person services in the dining room. Everything was professional but with an at-home hospitality. He also noted a lot of useful suggestions for our travel plans on a printed map of Shanklin, with his mind memorising the map of the entire Isle of Wight. I do not often write reviews, but I feel they indeed deserve my positive comments.

Such a thoroughly enjoyable short break. Jo and Andy are the perfect hosts. Lovely room, fantastic breakfast, nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. This is not your average B&B.
