Very disappointing. Will not return

1)Breakfast OK.
2) Location good.

Cons:

1) far to much noise from traffic, external noise ie air-conditioner compressors.
2) Frame of whiite window blinds broken.
3) Shower base fills with water..drains very slowly.
4)Algae all over shower corners in silicone.
5) Vinyl floor planks broken/ worn. Tripping hazard and danger to bare feet.
6) Generally, decor of rooms is old, tired and crying out for refurb.
7) This is the first disappointing experience we have had of the many Road Lodges we have used.
Other circumstances required us to extend our stay in Jhb, but we moved out and found other accomodation.

Pros:

It was closer to FNB stadium where the kids were attending the concert.

Cons:

The breakfast is limited. The reception lady screaming that my booking only covered 1 person per room for breakfast so we had to add money. Adding money is not a problem but the way she did it was very unprofessional. Also I didn’t understand when I made a booking I mentioned how many people are coming so I wouldn’t arrange breakfast for only 1 person per room

The staff was nice, the place is safe.

It was close to where we were going

Cons:

The breakfast had limited options.

We didn’t get shower caps, body lotion and vanity kits. we definitely didn’t like the 2in1 shower soap.

The vending machine does not work, we paid money to get lunch bars, the machine was not working but it took our money.

Would have liked a fridge in the room, we came with leftover food and there was no fridge.

Pros:

The lazy boy couch in the room is very convenient.

Cons:

TV is so 2012 please upgrade to a smart TV so that guests can have the freedom to watch whatever they want. There's also no extra blanket even a polar fleece would do.

Excellent service provided
Pros:

The building is user friendly even to those using wheel chair, the availability of ranks did help a lot i had an injury on my foot. Ramps made it easy for me.
