Been travelling the US staying in Marriott hotels for the past 6 weeks. Arrived at my 3rd last Marriott (Canton), the one that mattered the most as I was having eye surgery at Roholt vision Institute in North Canton the morning following my arrival. The Springhill suites were renovating and unfortunately the laundry was not accessible but with no pyjamas, no underwear and about to be out of action for the next 5 days, Sam organised for me to somehow get my laundry done behind the scenes.
After completing the now familiar ritual of unpacking enough luggage to sink the Titanic, I then discovered the Wifi wasn’t working in my room and couldn’t be resolved so once again Sam handled this situation, organised an alternate room and even offered to help me pack all my things up and relocate. Every member of staff were great in my interactions but for me Sam was the standout.
“Stuff” always goes wrong but the strength of a great hotel is the staff and their ability to manage the hurdles. I’ve now completed my 42 consecutive nights staying at Marriott hotels throughout the US and rate Springhill Suites North Canton the highest on the scorecard. Location was central to my needs, newly renovated rooms, cleanliness, the staff and finally Sam. Thanks Sam for all your help during my stay.

We had two rooms. There were five of us. And we didn’t have hot water the next morning to take showers. We told the front staff and they said they were working on it.

The bed is very stiff. I woke up with horrible back pain the next day. The water pressure in the shower is very hard and it had a option to adjust it but it did nothing and the water was luke warm
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and clean!!! Staff was so helpful and friendly.
