Excellent hotel and staff. Comfortable rooms, safe convenient, neighborhood, good breakfast at the hotel itself, plus can use the pool and restaurants and bar at the hotels next door. Highly recommended.
Clean, comfortable and great location

A very good location and very clean facilities. The staff was very helpful, especially John, who was excellent with customer service. I referred my friends and family to the hotel already.
The breakfast is okay, but could be improved.
We came & went from Best Western Upper Hill several times over a few weeks in May & June 2026; it was our base for more extensive travels throughout Kenya, and it always felt like coming home, after jaunts to more far-flung destinations. The staff were always warm & hospitable, and welcomed us back on each occasion like old friends 🧡, even remembering our names after days away .
The rooms were comfortable & quiet - the perfect retreat after a busy day out. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous, expansive and nourishing, in a lovely light, spacious, airy setting. And the dining room staff friendly & welcoming.
A great bonus here is having access to great restaurants & bars in the grounds of the neighbouring Fairmont Hotel.
Best Western is really well located in a beautiful neighbourhood, and within easy reach of central Nairobi, and other conveniences. I highly recommend Best Western Upper Hill and hope to be back there soon!

The garden and the pool area that is shared with Fairview is gorgeous. The staff were helpful and warm.The gym,albeit small had the necessary equipment for me.The location is quiet yet convenient.
The Dan in my room made a terrible screech,but I forgot to tell the staff.

Best stay in Nairobi, great location great value for money,fairly priced for the amenities on offer. The 24x7 restaurants, the pool area, the breakfast - you name it, everything is top notch.
The staff were really great and super friendly, they organised for a 4:00 AM breakfast takeaway to accommodate my early morning tour outing. That was really awesome.
