Location was amazing and staff friendly and helpful
This place as awesome! The room was huge! It has a very large kitchen, which we did not use other than making coffee. Right on the bay with a lovely, covered porch for sitting and enjoying morning coffee or after dinner beverages. you're looking out over massive sailboats and half billion-dollar yachts.
The included breakfast was good but after a few days of the same thing could have used a different selection of items. We did not eat any other meals there as there are quite a few less expensive options within short walking distant. The Lobster Hut was one of my best meals on the island.
There is really no beach so we walked up the hill then down the other side to Pigeon Point Beach. It was nice and there is a restaurant there that we did not try.. We had a car and drove to Galleon beach, where we went snorkeling from the beach on the far-left end. ( we had our own gear but there is an outfit that will do a tour with sea scooters.
If you go to the Sunday party at Shirley heights, I would recommend being there before 4:30 if you wish to geta seat at a picnic table. Cool thing with steel drums, and band . Lines for food and drinks are super long. Tons of people.
Amazing location and incredibly friendly and helpful staff
Nothing, it was fabulous!
Clean, spacious, great restaurant in top position
Nothing to dislike
Rooms are for folks coming in off of boats
Rooms are dark and cold, “prison chic” is how we described them.
A great location.
We found the rooms a little dark, in terms of both natural and artificial light. In terms of artificial light, that is probably something that can be easily fixed.
Everything lovely except the building g works noise
Lack of atmosphere

The staff were really friendly and attentive, we loved Rafi the waitress, she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I would recommend this place.
Beautiful location. Fantastic food at the restaurant. Friendly staff.
Southpoint gave us a lovely start to our Honeymoon in Antigua. From the moment we arrived the staff were excellent, providing us with a free bottle of wine to start our honeymoon. The room was massive with a huge balcony and a fully equipped fridge. The view from our balcony looking over the English Harbour bay was excellent. We loved the pool area with a beautiful setting overlooking the bay.
The hotel is also excellently situated, just a 5 minute walk from the main town, and a 5 minute walk to Pigeon Beach and to Nelson’s Dockyard for some sightseeing.
Overall would rate this hotel very highly and definitely would recommend to anyone coming to Antigua.
We found that whilst the room was very large and spacious, and had excellent facilities such as a big balcony and equipped kitchen, the decor was very very bland. It made the room feel quite dark and dated. I think the place could benefit from a freshing up and some more colourful decor.
It’s also worth noting that we travelled in June and English Harbour Town was completely dead. We struggled to find restaurants and bars with any life in them and often were one of the only ones in the restaurant. This is not the hotels fault but worth noting if considering coming in June.
Great breakfast amazing location with views of the harbour and beyond
would have liked a gym onsite
The location of the hotel suited us perfectly, the suite was spacious and well-equipped, and the staff were genuinely very attentive.
The air conditioning lacks power. Thankfully, the ceiling fans compensate somewhat, but given the hotel's standard and its Caribbean location, a much more effective air conditioning system would be necessary.
Stunning place. close to the centre but away from it all. Stunning views from rooms. Rooms large, well equipped and v comfortable
This place is beautiful and the location is amazing! What a wonderful, helpful, hospitable staff too!!
Schedule transportation to and from the airport through South Point ... much nicer and better priced than airport shuttle.
