Road Lodge Centurion

A convenient base for what I needed. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s fairly dated for design and decor but that possibly reflects in the price. The bathroom is about as compact as you can get and the shower is small - I kept knocking the water mixer to “off” while showering. Quiet considering its location. Duvet incredibly heavy for the current weather. No fridge, but plenty of ice available .

Property needs renovation

Shower space is very small,wish they could place the dust bin in the bedroom as well.Other than that,their service is excellent,and the rooms are clean.

Adequate for what I needed. Very small room even smaller bathroom - thank goodness I was alone. Bed was comfortable and the room was surprising quiet considering it was overlooking the carpark and very close to reception/ breakfast area. Very dated decor. Could do with a facelift. Shower has loads of hot water and good pressure but pees all over the bathroom floor because put poor door seal. Loved the small outdoor area by the pool - has a lovely view out over centurion with a great breeze. Didn’t eat any food there or use any other facilities so can’t comment on those . Enjoyed unlimited access to the ice machine - critical as the room has no fridge .

The place its clean but carpet smelling i have sinuses

Initial room provided 240, aircon was non functional. We were asked to moved to 153 and TV was not working. Cables exposed.
The shower was filthy to say the least as had to place the bath mat in the shower to shower. The shower floor was in a terrible state like it had not been clean for ages. The linen was mouldy smelling. The room was stuffy like damp smell. I have never been so appalled by the state of a room - and clhg should really look into the review of this road lodge. Don’t operate a hotel if the bare minimum cannot be done. Cleanliness is paramount! I had intentions prior to my stay to rebook a few more nights but the condition completely changed my mind.

I love staying at Road Lodge every time , I am around centurion. The service is amazing, the staff is friendly and accommodative, pool is clean, the rooms are also very neat and clean , accessibility is just perfect. My only concern is there was no toilet blush, which throw me off a bit.

From the moment we got there, the service, the staff was amazing. The location of this hotel was in the heart of Centurion, access able and very convenient. I am definitely coming back here. This place has a lot of privacy, vey quite and clean.

Very nice overnight place

It was clean comfortable and not to expensive. The breakfast was ok. The Road Lodge is situated close to shopping areas.

Practical, central, and affordable

The linen was old and had holes in it, the heater /air conditioning did not work properly besides not being clean.
The upside was the staff was friendly
