Road Lodge Port Elizabeth Airport

A small, clean and tidy hotel well located for the airport. A manageable walk but a little tricky with a lot of bags and there is no lift. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Room is small and basic but clean and well presented. Would stay again.

An airport convenient bargain.

There was no water to bath and the management did not do anything about it. They kept saying it's a municipality or area thing but did not show care towards customers. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very well located for hire car and airport. The room was very small and had no temperature controls. When we first turned on the tap in the sink the water was brown.

Hotel is convenient to the Port Elizabeth airport.

Liked: Location next to airport and car rental agencies. Nostalgia - been going to this chain since young. Disliked: Second room had mouldy smell - the odour you get from a cloth/mop that hasn't been washed properly. Was also promised I'd get to keep my first room from the Agoda booking. Had to switch over to a room minutes before having to leave to a wedding - the soul reason I was in PE. Garden view was nice for a change in this second room. Again, very nostalgic. Extreme noise for hours AFTER the rugby match was being watched by the public dining area - a staff member and what appeared to be their friends. During the rugby game is acceptable.

Incredibly convenient for our overnight stay to catch our 7am flight. The hotel is literally steps from the airport. We walked with our bags to check-in. Very nice staff. Clean room, comfortable bed. Hotel food good.

Excellent stop off. Reception staff were great. Room was comfortable. Shower hot and welcome. 2 minutes walk in the dark a little scary but easy to find.

The place is convenient especially in relation to air travel and car hiring. The price is also fair especially for a long term stay.

Highest recommendation for this property. Not only was this property very conveniently located near the airport but the staff always went above and beyond to make sure that their guests were comfortable and had anything necessary to make their visit the most comfortable

The staff were absolutely amazing and made sure my day was as comfortable as possible.
