Lovely Old Mexico style Hotel. Right on the Zocalo, never a dull moment out on the street.

A beautiful, old-time Mexican hotel. The interior of the hotel and swingpool area are quite beautiful, I'd say, dramatic. This place is like a restaurant you enjoy going to, even though the food isn't very good. By this, I mean the rooms are clean but not enjoyable to be in. Other guests agreed, You don't stay here because you love your room, but we all love the hotel ???

Cons:

The rooms are spotless but not enjoyable to spend time in, as they are outdated except for a modern refrigerator.

Location and staff were great. It was right in front of the main plaza. You could walk to the restaurants and bars very easily. Staff was very helpful when we were planning our trips to Chichén Itzá and the local cenotes.

Cons:

The rooms were not very clean and they were outdated. There were many stains on the sheets, and the pillows were flat and thin. At least there was good air conditioning and the price was not too bad.
