Phuket Jula Place

I booked in here at no notice after another hotel fouled up. The front of desk staff were helpful and friendly. The room was very nice for the price, everything clean and working. There is adequate on site parking. But try to book a room at the rear of the property; mine at the front suffered from traffic noise.

Cozy room and nice balcony. Stayed here for 1 whole month, good location. 15 min drive to Ni Harn, Kata and Karon beaches. Shopping malls and convenience stores nearby. Very close to chalong pier, quite area.

Godt sted. Man får meget for pengene. Super service !!! Beliggenheden er lidt træls ud til en stor vej. Området er også meget dødt, men hotellet fejler intet

... close to Chalong Pier to access divw boats, taxis, resturants, shops and great place for evening walks. ATMs, Cash Exchangers are numerous. Dive shops are within walking distances. Motor bikes are available nearly on demand.

Jula place is well kept, nice movies recycling so one misses nothing.

Many resturants are hidden or not so easily located. Further, crossing main district streets should be done with care. Note: steering is generally from the left side of vehicles, and the drivers side is closest to the curve in the direction of travel. Multiple motor bikes during business hours make getting around a lill challenge. I'm scheduled to return to Jula Place after one week in Lembongan, Indo. Cool beans!

L'avantage c'est d'être à moins de 10 km des ferry pour les différentes iles pour Un prix raisonnable.
Par contre aucun autre intérêt à loger dans ce secteur.

In the room have a shower. Water and coffee is free. The swimming pool is nice . The room is big with a fridge. Have a big bed. cleaning was not perfect because we do not remove the ants in the microwave. for a day and a half we did not have internet.

Super friendly staff who go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Rooms are well kept, very clean and well equipped. Plenty of restaurants, shopping and services close by.

Looking at some of the unhappy reviews here I can't help but wonder if they have the correct/same hotel..?

I come to Chalong quite a bit for my work and I always stay at Jula Place. I have never had anything but exceptionally good service and experience. Did I already mention that the staff is extremely friendly and helpful?

I lived here for a month and really liked it, only minus was that they were renovating so some mornings I was forced to wake up already at 8am. Night guard is the cutest and sweetest ever as his wife! ❤️

Great hotel, good location (to be in chalong, which honestly is a super boring area of phuket), good price for the offer but if you stay for long time (I stayed for 3 weeks):
.they don't even give you toilet paper (O_o why???)
.you'll be charge in the end with the electricity (no one told me that when I booked)
.you won't have your room cleaned (or new towels, coffee for the machine, water in the fridge, dishes cleaned, bed done) every day, just twice a week, in the days they choose (O_o why???)
.I've never had coffee for the machine, or sugar, or water. not even those 2 times a week they came in my room (is not important, I know, is just a sign thou)
.so many times I didn't find the receptionist, never seen her/him actually doing something, always on youtube, found them sleeping, I've been waiting for my keys sometimes for 10 minutes without the chance to call anybody
.just one person in the bar (which is very good), and the kitchen is totally separated, so if you ask something and there is someone else ordering (or someone just ordered) you know that you'll wait for at least 20 minutes
.not too bad overall, but the guest service is the thing I found EXTREMELY LACKING (I see so much potential in this good hotel...all wasted by the guest service)

This is a very good priced no frills place but is actually very cool Asian style with nice mini bar, bed, shower, and AC...what more do you need. Right down from harbor so good place to stay if going out on dive boat.

ミニキッチンと電子レンジがついていたので、ここを選びました。子供と一緒だったので、これは便利でした。冷蔵庫のペットボトルの水２本は無料で、なくなったら足してくれます。1Fにはコーヒーショップが、近所にはコンビニもあり、10分程歩くとVilla marketというショッピングセンターがあり、そこにスーパーも入っています。近隣には食べ物の屋台やお店も結構あるので、食べることには苦労しませんでした。プールも小さいけれど、うちには十分。

I stayed here in February 2012, and the hotel was very clean, modern, and great value. The pool was wonderful to get relief from the hot days! The hotel itself is close to Chalong Bay, and is good if you want connections to activities like scuba diving, and other water activities. If you're looking for a beach, you might want to look elsewhere on the island. But this particular place was perfect!

I stayed at Jula Place before joining a trip from the Chalong Pier. Very comfortable apartment right by the main 'road circle'.

Recommend going to small nite market nearby for awesum pad thai for 84baht!!

Having to hand in key everytime seemed like a pain but was really good not to have to carry it around.

Hotellet var bra! Ok service och trevlig personal! Dock var det inte så mycket som hände i Chalong. Men bra om man ska ut till öarna.

Nice big room spotlessly clean . Staff exceptionally attentive. Situated very near Chalong Pier . Plenty of restaurants nearby and taxis to take you further afield, Be aware there are at least 3 floors and no lift. Rooms in front noisy if sitting on balcony . Highly recommended.

Can't recommend Jula Place highly enough. Nice big room with large fridge and microwave . Bathroom was great and hot water plentiful. . The staff were extremly helpful and went out of their way to make my holiday trouble and stress free.

Recommend a room NOT overlooking the street. The traffic is plentiful and noisy although the closed windows certainly kept most of the noise out. It just was rather unpleasant sitting on the balcony.

Rooms overlooking the pool would be better. I never managed to sit by the pool as I was never there at the right time to find the sun. It looked very clean and welcoming though.

Very near Pier and local restaurants.
