The hand held shower was not working,the bidet spray leaks.there were no hand towels

A good choice for our first night stop over in Ipoh. Friendly service, large rooms, good breakfast. The hotel has a little bit of wear and tear once you get past reception but everything works and it felt safe.

The safe box was not working. No hot water. Semi outdoor breakfast (nostalgia) settings with local delicacies was a pleasant surprise. A hotel where you get in, you get out.

The rooms need a renovation. TV sound was bad and just too small in today standard, bath room plumbing falling apart. Doors cannot be secured. Carpet has bad smell and dirty.
Didn’t put free bottled water when checked in. Had to call room service. Didn’t replace towels and toilet paper after room service. Had to call room service. Dirty/old curtains. Saving grace is hotel at quiet area, had uninterrupted sleep.
While I don't typically complain, my experience at La Kinta Riverfront was extremely disappointing. Despite a nice lobby, the Deluxe King room we paid extra for was far from deluxe. The carpets were stained. Furniture was in poor condition, with ripped leather on the bed frame and a beat-up coffee table. The bathroom lacked the promised rainfall shower head fixture as the handle was broken and had rusty tiles. The safe didn't work, the WiFi was unreliable, and the TV had poor quality. Even the glass cups were dirty. The bedside buttons didn't work, and one fell off the wall. The only positive was the cold AC. We stayed only because we were exhausted from traveling. We planned two nights but left after one, opting for a nicer hotel elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble and money—avoid staying here.

The superior king size bedroom we stayed in is spacious and the air-cond is cold enough. The mattress is hard, find it very uncomfortable to sleep on, the quilt is too thin, the toilet bowl cover is spoilt. There is no hand towel provided.
The location is a bit far out fr the town. You need a car or call e-hailing for that matter.
The breakfast was great as were the staff at breakfast, but that was about the only good thing about the place. The room was old, the window did not close properly, we needed to call three times to get towels delivered.
The page for this hotel says the rooms are soundproof and that it has two pools. Neither is accurate. There is one pool, we were kept awake by a noisy party on a lower floor and could hear people in the corridor.
For the same price or less, there are better options in Ipoh.

Reception seems don't bother to call back to check & they should learn basic hospitality to offer the guest instead of waiting for guest to demand for something.
