Pros:

Located in the heart of Sofia, Rila Hotel was the perfect base for exploring the city.
I hadn't requested a balcony room in my original booking, but when I kindly asked at reception if it might be possible, they upgraded us without hesitation. That small gesture says everything about how much they value their guests.
The room itself was impressive — fully renovated, spotlessly clean, and the balcony added a lovely touch. Despite being in the very center of the city, the hotel has a wonderfully calm and peaceful atmosphere.
The location is unbeatable: 3 minutes to Vitosha Boulevard, 10 minutes to Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, everything within walking distance. We explored the entire city on foot without needing a taxi once.
A special thank you to the reception team — warm, genuinely helpful, and they handled our upgrade request effortlessly and with a smile.
If we visit Sofia again, this will absolutely be our first choice. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Habitación número 318 es horrible.... Cómo es posible ofrecer al mundo en el siglo XXI tal habitación en una capilla europea????Han quedado mal! Yo negué de dormir en aquella habitación porque además no funcionaba el aire acondicionado y no se podía abrir la ventana Tenía que pagar mas dinero para que me den otra habitación y era número 306 Lo siento por éste hotel Además, en el bañó del habitación 306 el lavabo estaba atascado y deje la nota en la recepción! Tomar medidas para que ésto no ocurra más! Muchas gracias! Un saludo Estefanía

Oda çok ağır kokuyordu bu yüzden balkon kapısını sürekli açık tuttum banyodaki süzgecide havluyla kapattım ki koku gelmesin. Otelin konumu güzel ama acilen tadilata alınması gerekiyor.

Pros:

Posizione meravigliosa in pieno centro a 2 passi veri da Vitosha e da tutte le maggiori attrazioni. Ho alloggiato in una camera ristrutturata, al 7mo piano. Ottimo terrazzino, camera grande, meravigliosa la presenza di camomilla, cialde nespresso, macchina caffè e bollitore. Belle le scritte a neon. Ho lasciato la valigia in locker room per tutta la giornata.

Pros:

Very nice hotel in city center, great location and great view on mountain Vitosa wich top is covered by snow in June.
I like old part of hotel too abd recommend that for visitors from western countries to see that past time :)
