If you are expecting a quiet & restful holiday with a professional service – AVOID this hotel

The beach lounge

Cons:

I rarely write reviews, but this time I felt it was important to share our experience, as it may help others make the right choice and avoid a similar situation.
We decided to try this hotel because we liked its beach lounge and its location at the end of the village.

We booked a room for 3 nights, but after the 1st night it became impossible to stay. Loud music from the hotel restaurant played until around 11:00 pm, followed by outside beach parties until approximately 2:00 am. Strong bass vibrations made sleep impossible.
The rooms are not soundproofed. Sliding balcony doors do not close or seal properly, allowing all outside noise to enter. There is no information on the hotel’s website warning guests that this is a noisy area at night.

We contacted the reception during the night; they acknowledged the noise and offered another room slightly further from the beach party, but the noise level remained the same. As all rooms face the beachfront and have the same inadequate windows, there was no real alternative.
For this reason, the next morning, we requested cancellation of the remaining two nights and a refund. Reception staff said they could not help and referred us to WhatsApp contacts. After a delay, we were told via WhatsApp the hotel was not responsible for outside parties and that nothing could be done. They also claimed no other guests had complained.

Despite being advertised as a 5-star “exclusive seaside retreat”, the hotel feels more like a 3-star. The service is poorly trained and unprofessional; reception is staffed by very young, inexperienced employees, no one spoke English, and there was no manager on site. The situation was handled rudely and without accountability.

We have still not received confirmation of a refund for the unused nights.

Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend this hotel, especially to guests looking for peace and comfort.
