we liked the shuttle service which was very flexible since we arrived later than expected.

Communication was a struggle throughout our stay, as most staff—from reception to the restaurant—have very limited English.

After opting for room service, we spent nearly 1.5 hours waiting for a simple order of vegetable rice. Despite emphasising "no meat/no fish" multiple times, the dish arrived with pieces of shrimp. Taking the shrimp out doesn't make a dish vegan once it's already been cooked in.

The hotel needs at least one dedicated vegan option on the menu and better staff training to handle basic dietary requirements safely.

5-Star Service in a 4-Star Hotel
Pros:

During my stay, I experienced a sudden medical emergency while I was alone in Jakarta for work. The hotel staff responded immediately.

Ms. Titis, together with Mr. Doni and Mr. Munte from security team, immediately helped me get to the hospital and even assisted with the administration process. Their calmness, care, and professionalism meant more than I can express.

Citadines speaks about “For the Love of Cities,” but what I experienced was love and care for their guests. That is something truly special.

Thank you for turning a frightening moment into one I will never forget for the right reasons. I will definitely come back.
