Great little hideaway in the heart of Sukhumvit.
Pros:

A great little hidden gem right in the middle of Sukhumvit area. It’s quiet, has a great pool/restaurant area with good food & all the staff contribute to it being very well run

It’s also only a 10 - 15 minute walk to the beautiful Benchakitti Park.

Cons:

Nothing. Maybe a more comfortable seat in the room would have been nice but no big deal.

Hotel verouderd, maar ok. Lokatie top. Geen normale 'amonemities', zoals koffie/thee. Prijs volslagen belachelijk. Zou max. 1200/1400 mogen kosten. 2600 is veel en veel te veel voor wat ze bieden.

Pros:

Goede locatie, heel vriendelijk personeel. Mooie tuin/buitengedeelte.

Cons:

De matrassen zijn dringend aan vervanging toe. De kamers hebben hun beste tijd gehad. Dringend renovatie nodig. Het zwembad ligt vlak naast de straat en aan het open bar/restaurantgedeelte. Te weinig ligbedden/relaxmogelijkheid. Eten/drinken aan de dure kant. M.a.w. prijs/kwaliteit: te duur.

Great location, close to the hustle and bustle but still in a calm area of its own
Pros:

Location is great especially when arriving in Bangkok. Lots of restaurants close by and some nice places for the occasional beer. I like the Stable Lodge restaurant a lot and love sitting there for breakfast or a beer, food is good too. The breakfast price can seem expensive at first glance but includes coffee and juice which many others do not, and a big plus for the included bigger jug of coffee, perfect for nordic tastes.

Cons:

Nothing really except not reserving sooner, the rooms at the back of the property with another building next to them aren't quite as nice as the ones facing Soi 8, which are great. Will have to try and book earlier next time!
