Relaxing
Pros:

Quiet location, proximity to the beach & the city centre, comfortable bed, non centralised airconditioning, pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, spa, bar & restaurant . Shower had strong water pressure. Good food in restaurant. Easy check in & check out. Nice hotel decor. Complimentary bottled water , tea making facility with biscuits, wardrobe with ample space & safe installed.WhatsApp to communicate with reception & to book spa or order food.

Cons:

Some areas need refurbishing. Bath in our room was rusty, ventilation not working, tiles coming off, carpets need replacing, floors were creaking, No fridge. Water in shower was too hot so had to be extra careful in adjusting temperature . Walls not insulated enough & can hear the next room & corridor’s noises. Breakfast was basic. Not enough choices.Restaurant closing too early( we tried twice) as apparently short of staff but on our second visit, staff was kind enough to accommodate us. If lodge was booked, had to go to Connaught Hotel reception for check in & check out. All the amenities are in the hotel. Lodge is simply made up of rooms. Old fashioned & quite tiny lift in lodge. Gym had a hole in the wall (looked like something smashed into it) & some pieces of equipment had seen better days

Definately want to come back
Pros:

The room was quiet. Bed comfortable. Staff were very attentive. The swimming pool was very nice and my little girl really enjoyed a splash every day! Lovely garden area to enjoy morning coffee and little had room to run around a bit. The location was perfect for us with a short walk to the beach and shop and couple of restaurants near by. Room had an aircon, which was very handy!

Cons:

Quite small lift in the lodge so struggled with all the luggage on arrival a bit. But its understandable as lodge is not a big building so on the check out had multiple trips so didn't have to fit all the luggage and a child in the lift at once.

Tiles around the swimming pool need a bit of scrub, but apart from that everything was very clean.

A short half term break with my Grandaughter who was delighted emwith the room and ofcourse the wonderful pool
Pros:

Excellent accommodation comfy bed good air conditioning good sized walk in shower pretty gardens lovely breakfast friendly staff and a lovely good sized pool with Jacuzzi sauna and steam room will definitely stay there again !

Cons:

Nothing to dislike

A splendid short break.
Pros:

The Lodge room was fine. Clean, comfortable and with much needed air con. Very impressed with the facilities and staff in the main hotel. Great location for access to restaurants, the beach, buses.

Pros:

Close to all that Bournemouth has to offer. Clean comfortable and facklities are excellent.

Cons:

Unfortunately beers available on bar were warm but that is just being really picky.

Gin bar. Nice comfortable bar area and restaurant with good food.

Cons:

Sticky tables in breakfast room. Sloping shelf in bathroom so everything slipped off. Shower curtain awful, curved rail made space very limited, so curtain wrapped around you. Really needs shower screen.

Stayed at this hotel a number of times and will stay again.
Pros:

Good located hotel with parking and SPA facilities and 24 hour bar plus room service. Beach only a ten minute walk away.

Cons:

Stayed in the lodge building as part of a group. This is little bit dated but a good sized clean room.
