THIS IS THE ONE!
Pros:

THE ONE when staying in Oxford. Lived up to our expectations of a Hilton experience! Great location...short walk to shops and restaurants. Safe, clean and pedestrian friendly. Hotel check in staff were welcoming and professional. Room was clean and comfortable.

Quiet, comfortable room. Poor first impressions in the lobby.
Pros:

A successful brand being rolled out by Hilton. The reception staff were delightful and professional. (Shirley in particular deserves a mention..👏).
The whole look differs from other branded hotels…the designers are going for a funkier, urban look, think urban chic., with little colour. Very masculine.
The rooms are a decent size, although the unpainted concrete ceiling in our room was ugly and unappealing, and the pictures on the wall were obscured by the TV…how is that possible…..?)
Internally, the hotel was astonishingly quiet, although from around 6am, traffic noise built up.
Downsides? Parking is $15, and the QR code lead system is absurdly time consuming and inefficient. The option of paying at the reception desk should be an option.
The biggest negative for me was the design/occupancy of the large lobby. It was completely full of students working on t their laptops, which made it look like the Students union building. ( there is also a WiFi “dorm” option, which made me wonder if there is a significant number of rooms occupied by students)
A decent hotel though. I’d stay there again.

This was a good, not great experience at your hotel.
Cons:

The armoire in the room took up too much space, seemed out of place in room.
