The rooms and banquet facilities were nice, but the desk people and the finance office are seriously subpar. They have placed a hold on my debit card/checking account that is still in place ten days after my stay which was paid in full when I checked out. The staff will not take the time to understand my issue and the finance office has not returned any of the three messages I have left ion Voicemail, if someone would take the time to listen to what happened the problem could be resolved in seconds but they all tell me that what happened is not in accordance with their policies so I must e wrong. This is not customer service, this is lazy people who won’t take the time to listen
The hotel was fine. It's a beautiful period building, so the lobby and communal areas are impressive, but as a result, the rooms are quite old-fashioned. That said, it was comfortable enough and perfectly adequate for a two night business stay. Location was great for downtown Syracuse.
The breakfast was pretty awful, especially considering it's not bundled in. I skipped it on day two.
The pillows are way too soft. The bed had too much paraphernalia on it -blankets, cushions. Makes getting into bed a right faff!
Like all hotels, it needs more lights.

Could use some updates in the bathroom
Absolutely the worst experience at a hotel ever. First, I am on a walker from knee replacement surgery There is no handicap entrance to get in. The room had a bed that was waist high and impossible to get in and out of comfortably There was no chair to sit on it to put on shoes or socks. The Marriot shuttle that took us to dinner was so high to step into that a six foot man had trouble getting in. No step stool was provided. The noise from the next room woke me in the middle of the night. After a rough night the coffee maker didn’t work. And I’ve got two more nights!!
Loved the 1920s charm-was not expecting that. Close to attractions.
There was some leftover food in mini fridge.
Beautiful hotel. Great on site Irish Pub. Large room as nd bathroom on the 12th floor.
We didn't turn down the bed until 9:30 pm and discovered the sheet were not clean with hair and black fuzzies covering one side of the bed. Still waiting 40 minutes later for new sheets. Disappointing.
