It was what we expected less a non working pool.
Pros:

It was everything I expected. The place is older. The furnishings match the age. Room was clean. Got what we paid for!

Cons:

Pool was out of service. As a pool professional for 30 years I know a thing or 2 about pools. The Pool was working just fine. I even checked out the equipment room. I feel they didn't want all the girls from the softball teams playing in a local tournament using the pool. That's why we were there also! I even offered to fix any "issues" for free and was turned down.

Cons:

beds were stained, sheets didn’t fit on mattress, outlets didn’t work, shower curtain was stained with red and black spots, towels were stained bad, etc, not worth the price i paid at all. It also did not match the images online

You get what you pay for. An inexpensive no frills stay.
Pros:

The facilty was clean. The front desk person happily exchanged rooms for us when we mentioned how uncomfortable the bed was.The new room had a more comfortable bed.

Cons:

It would have been nice if they could have used sand or ice melt in the parking lot. It was a sheet of ice and not safe for walking to and from our vehicle.

Pros:

Room was outdated, window had a crack going across with a bunch of nasty stuff in between. Breakfast not good. Just your normal cereal, bagel, toast. The best part of this place was the hottub.

The check in was good and staff were pleasant enough. The location is good.

Cons:

I very seldom ever rate places, and only leave good ratings. However, I have been in hundreds of hotels across the USA, Canada, and Europe and I would have to rate this hotel in the bottom 5 hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was smelly, musty, and damp (really damp). The bedding and sheets were damp. The air conditioner (to try and clear out some of the smell) was louder than the trucks on the highway. There was very little for covers. The coffee machine in the morning did not work (the staff tried to get it working, but they couldn't). Some suggestions: Get rid of the carpet and put in hard flooring, put in de-humidifiers in the rooms, sanitize for smell and more bedding, and fix the coffee machine. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last few years and it was fine, but not now. If these things were taken care of the hotel would be up to standards again.
