Perfect place for a perfect getaway
Pros:

Loved the location, close to the beach, restaurants, and stores. the room was very comfortable and spacious. Also, easy drive to San Diego attractions like the zoo, Balboa Park, La Jolla, Ocean Beach. The breakfast was delicious and staff was very friendly and nice.

We would definitely return to the Gorietta Bay.
Pros:

Staff was very helpful. Being able to use beach chairs and umbrella was greatly appreciated.

Cons:

Thought the breakfast was just so-so. Some foods were lukewarm at best.

It was a lovely stay in spite of the room issues

Location and breakfast is great, employees are friendly.

Cons:

Wanted a room with view. Received a view but room was located on second level eye level with several huge solar panels directly in front of balcony in front of the view. One bottom dresser drawer in room stayed open would not stay closed and bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned when we got to the room. the desk person was nice enough to give us $25 off the room for that.
