Very peaceful and quiet and the hotel was well kept clean.

The AC was very loud. The mini-refrigerator was loud.
Dirty hotel and room. Hotel in poor condition. Felt safety was a concern. Didn't get the room I reserved.
Staff was very friendly, hotel is clean, very quiet at night, breakfast choices were nice.
A few places on the walls in the room where things had hit it, the paint was coming off. There are spots in the hallway carpet that are coming apart. Pillows are pretty flat, tv remote didn’t have the back on it, basic channels.

No elevator, not a big selection of items during continental breakfast, hearing doors shut in the hallway (not very sound proof).

The hotel is convenient for where we visit. The room was quiet.
Breakfast is typical. The most exciting thing they have are waffles, but they were out of syrup. Let the staff know but they must have been completely out or too busy to bother. Our second morning they had plenty of syrup.
Room - Only 3 tissues in the box, which we used, and the sink was plugged, wouldn't drain. I put the sign on the door that the room needed service with a note but no one did anything during our 2 night stay.
When we returned to our room for the night, the room smelled heavily of marijuana.

The breakfast was very limited no bread for toast no eggs in any kind hardly anything
The hotel is clean. Though outdated, the pool is nice. With my health issues we typically pick places with jacuzzi/hot tub, and was very disappointed to find it not working. The rooms are small. The mattresses need to be updated and replaced. They are old and uncomfortable. The carpet is old and dated as well and allergies flared in the hotel. The toilet in the room was very low to the floor! There is no elevator, be sure to reserve a handicapped room if stairs are challenging. Breakfast is a continental breakfast, and the food was just fine. The staff is friendly and welcoming as well. The pool towels are at the main desk, I suggest bringing your own. Good affordable place to stay, but not top of the line comforts either.OH and WiFi is as expected in Northern Michigan.
