Pros:

An exceptional stay! This was not just any hotel, this was a truly special experience. We had so much space to spread out, a full kitchen for a quick bite and being able to do laundry in the full sized apartment was a HUGE plus! I would absolutely recommend the AKA White House to everyone coming to DC.

Nice, but dated and not so clean.
Pros:

Staff was great....all were helpful... Location was awesome. The two separate bedrooms was great, as well as a kitchen. We travel with grandkids.

Cons:

Very dated. Bathroom and kitchens need better cleaning. We had roaches in the kitchen. They offered to move us, but if we had roaches.... So did the other rooms.
Furniture was stained... They need to remodel...

Excellent location with top class facilities and staff.
Pros:

Location was excellent , close to all the Washington attractions, coffee shops and restaurants . Hotel was spotless , and checking in was a seamless process . I would absolutely recommend the 2 bed apartment , and if you are there for a long stay , there is a washer / dryer in the apartment also .

Cons:

Towel changes didn't happen , we had to ask for them a few times.

Site seeing long weekend.
Pros:

Great location, several good restaurants close to the hotel. Excellent 2 bedroom suite, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here next time we are in Washington DC.

Spacious accommations, apartment feel, very good service
Pros:

I was looking for hotel rooms in DC and came across AKA White House. The cost for a 2 bed/2 bath apartment was about the same as two rooms at a mid-range hotel. The apartment was spacious, clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel
Pros:

I have to be honest here. I was not sure about choosing AKA White House or another option hotel I had seen (which had pool and bikes for free). But after an unfortunate incident in which my booking was changed from "free cancellation" condition to "non refundable", I had no other option than to stay in AKA White House. However is the best thing that could had happened to us. Location is superb and the room is basically a whole apartment which gives a good living space. The kitchen, the laundry machine, ... Is all very well conditioned. Also the hotel has a nice bar and cinema!

Cons:

I should have chosen a room with a normal shower or bath (and not the accessible one). I kept spilling water outside the shower.
