Very quiet location
All good
Nice and easy too find and centre location for where we needed too be.
Could do with updating in the shower room as very mouldy and shoee door definitely needs replacing.
The side tables and lights about was very dusty
Good size room. Large comfy bed. Easy to find location. Good price. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking included with the room. Fan included in the room which is much appriciated in the summer heat.
Had to check in over the road in the main hotel not the lodge. Also the shower leaked all over the floor due to a faulty seal but when I mentioned this to reception they got us a new room straight away. Also £45 extra per person to use the spa facilities is a bit much.
The Hotel is well situated close to the motorway, which made it perfect for our stay for one night on the way to our next destination. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was huge and comfortable.
Staff decent, bed comfortable loved the shower
Decorating, out dated and odd marks
Nice clean rooms
Nothing really!
Modern and clean
The restaurant was too expensive and the cafe Nextdoor closed too early so no other options for food!
room very clean beds comfortable
it was stated we could have breakfast as continental with cereal & toast etc. This was incorrect and our son had to go without as this is all he will eat at breakfast
The bed was super comfy and the room clean and accessible being on the ground floor.
There is no reception, you have to check in across the road and no one is on the premises at night. It was alot of faff for one night and I had a man banging on the door at 5am, which was very scary for a woman on her own. There was an enormous flying ant infestation at the entrance, not very pleasant. The breakfast is in the pub, it took them 40 mins to bring me egg on toast and nothing else was provided. If I had known all of this in advance I would have booked across the road at the spa hotel.
Real nice property, we were very impressed with it! Massively recommend it!
The bed being on wheels was extremely frustrating but honestly, really isn’t a huge issue
I came into The Black Sheep for a drink and had a really great experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service was excellent. Zia looked after me and was friendly, and made sure i had everything i needed throughout my visit. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
