Clean, Comfortable and Convenient!
Everything. The location, so close to the business, the staff, the kitchen, the beds were very comfortable. The foldout sofas were fantastic.
We stayed in the 3 bedroom and needed mirrors in the bedroom other than just in bathroom. Need hooks to hang towels behind the door I the bathroom.
Wonderful place to stay.
Nothing.
Beautiful setting and easy access to walking the town. The elk wandered through in the evening and the s’mores made it perfect!
The rooms were cozy, not huge
Absolutely amazing from start to finish! Staff is friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable, amazing location right next to town and easy drive to the Ntl park, and the breakfast was filling with good options to fuel up before hiking. Plus extra snacks and a s’mores provided in the evening was very fun.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the property was very conveniently located in Estes Park. Being alongside the river was quite scenic and lovely.
The rooms were very old and the only real windows and light came from the side of the doors, which were French doors typically used for internal doorways and let in a lot of noise. Because most of the light came from the French door windows, you have to choose whether you want light or privacy. Even if you choose privacy, the curtains over the windows are not blackouts and you will see the lighting in the walkway outside through the doors and hear people walking around at night and in the morning. Because all of the ventilation came from a single window and one bathroom window, the rooms became very stuffy and relied on a window A/C unit for heat and cooling.
The TV and cable set-up was very strange. They provided smart TVs but there is no connection to the internet, and the staff told us that using Netflix (evening logging into your own account) was not permitted. Instead they had a satellite TV set-up that was more at home in the late 90s than 2026; it was very difficult to navigate and did not have many typical cable channels. Just enabling your TVs to use wifi and allowing guests to use native applications (e.g., Netflix, HBO) is fairly standard in this day and age. Everything was a bit dated. Guests should plan ahead and bring a laptop and an HDMI cable if they want to watch any television.
The breakfast was awful. Basic, cheap yoghurt and toast with toppings. The only eggs that were offered were the most gross-looking hard-boiled eggs I have ever seen. Luckily, there is a good diner a short walk up the street.
Had a wonderful stay at the Silver Moon Inn!!! The front desk staff (Chad and Betty) were both so helpful and truly appreciated their desire to make our stay perfect, and also to pass along information for Estes Park. The room was clean and it was obvious that housekeeping staff takes great care to make sure the rooms are welcoming. The grounds are beautiful, from the river by the rooms to the many fire pits. We loved having chairs outside to enjoy the views, and also loved the popcorn and smores at night. Just a great stay all around! Already looking forward to our next visit there!
We very much enjoyed the walkability of this location and its situation on the river. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely updated. We appreciated the two comfortable chairs.
I'm always bothered by the wastefulness and unpleasantness of plastic cutlery. Usually we bring our own set of silverware, but this time we forgot.
The best location in Estes! Walk to downtown. Easy access to RMNP and The Stanley. Right on the river too!!
Due to having a dog we were in the low level right by the office with no view. Plus being cabin-like…no central air. And no screen in window so could not leave open for the mountain air!
Location and friendliness of staff. Great enjoyable experience
Loved everything about it! Simple and cute, great location, cozy - we will definitely stay again if we get the pleasure of coming back to the area!
The breakfast was a bit lackluster but we mostly dined out so that wasn't an issue for us.
Me encanto la cercania con el pueblo y que estuviera cerca del rio
Muy pequeño el baño
