Disappointing. Needs deep, deep cleaning.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable, and bedding (sheets etc) was clean. Good enough location. Grounds were nice. Full size fridge. Microwave was handy as the tiny hob didn't provide much room to cook a full meal. Free parking was great. Didn't try the free breakfast. The short interactions we had with staff during check in and check out was very pleasant.

Cons:

We stayed in one of the villas. It was not grand. It looked nothing like the photos on the hotel site. It needed a very deep clean. The room in general was very disappointing.
Very dirty. Some parts of the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Vents were very dirty and had a lot of clogged dirt in them. Spider and cobwebs in the bathroom. The shower had low pressure.
A couple of stained towels in the bathroom when we got there - looked like makeup (none of our group wears makeup) - but were replaced quickly when requested.
Lots of dust along base boards.
There were dirty socks under the bed, lots of loose dirt (bits of food, dust, etc) under the bed.
There were 2 rugs on the floor under the sofa...one on top of the other. The top rug was filthy...lots of stains and just overall dirty. The rug underneath wasn't as dirty but the parts that were not covered by the rug on top were absolutely filthy...the difference between the "clean" part and the exposed part were very obvious. These rugs definitely haven't been cleaned in a long, long time. The gas fireplace didn't work. We switched it on and all that came out was gas...it didn't light.
A lot of little flying bugs in the room when we got there. The cooking hob was tiny and very close to the refrigerator and not big enough to cook a full meal...could do with a bigger cooking surface/oven. We checked out before the end of our paid trip. Overall very disappointing and not worth the price we paid. We've stayed in 3 star places that were better.
The room we stayed in should not be given to any more customers until everything is completely cleaned from top to bottom.

Great location and wonderful customer service for business travel to Bay Area

Great service at front desk, especially Mona who kindly helped with reservation changes I needed to do during my stay.

The Grand Hotel offered a cozy and clean space to rest.
Pros:

I liked the fact that there was enough parking when I arrived. And there wasn’t an extra fee for a parking space.

Cons:

The receptionist needs to be a little bit more friendly. He was very serious and not that welcoming.

Pros:

We had Happy Hour drinks one night and our Bartender was very nice and friendly. We enjoyed our continental breakfast the two days we stayed, there was a decent variety, that fueled us up for our day.

Cons:

Ice machine didnt work on main floor, so we had to use the ice machine on the 4th floor. No other concerns.

Pros:

Good location and very good sized room. Bathroom was huge with separate standing shower and separate giant deep soaking tub.

Cons:

The bed was not very comfortable. It was like sleeping on a slab.
