We stayed in a lovely corner room on the top floor. The hotel is well managed and the staff is excellent.

Hot tub was not operational 2 out of the 3 days I was there.

Our room had sort of a wet dog smell. It's not the first time I have smelled a pet smell in a room that I've been staying in. In my opinion this hotel needs to have a pet designated floor and not let the pets spill over to other floors they definitely need to keep some rooms that are always pet free.
I also asked for a quiet room and I was put on the side away from the hot tub which was good but then they put me right beside a stairwell so we could hear people coming up and down the stairwell and in and out of the stairwell door.
Also I think the hotel has raised its price to too high.
Excellent Breakfast, lots of choice, lots of variety, choices changed daily
No decent restauarants within walking distance of hotel. Hotel did not have an evening dining option
