15 drive from airport- clean and well run. Would stay here again
Pros:

Clean, family-run hotel adjacent to a golf course that is run by one of the big corporate hotels nearby. Short walk to several restaurants and a nice market.

Cons:

Freeway noise. We used a white noise app and it was tolerable.

Eine zur B&B Pension umgebaute ehemalige Villa einer Kaffeeplantagenfamilie, die von der Tochter und ihren Kindern geführt wird. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Edle Möblierung und Böden. Hat was!
In einer ruhigen und sicheren Wohnstraße gelegen. Besonders die Nähe zum Flughafen ist sehr attraktiv.

Prima hotel op doorreis na aankomst in San José
Pros:

Prettige kamer met goede bedden, goede badkamer met ruime douche. Het aan tafele geserveerde ontbijt op het terras met uitzicht op de golfbaan was prima.

Cons:

De snelweg is vlakbij en hoewel dit heel praktisch is als je aankomt in San José, hoor je de auto’s wel altijd.

AMAZING
Pros:

The best hotel I haver ever stayed in. Simply AMAZING. The hospitality is unmatched. I highly recommend it. Beautiful view, clean, complete breakfast, incredible hospitality. Completely surpassed my expectations. Ms. Cecilia is a joy. I would love to go back and stay at this hotel again!

I Know more than 40 countries and never had so good experience like in Terrazas !!
Pros:

Breakfast was wonderful. Carolina is a first class chef and prepares meals like any other hotel’s people can do!
Forget old hotels around San Jose, you have to experience Terrazas!!!
The hotel Terrazas is a familiar place and Mrs Cecilia de Arias, Mr Mário Árias and their son Roberto and daugther Irene are always ready to help you to get a better experience from Costa Rica. I will be Back for sure!! Tv,Wifi,room cleaning, golf field around, a lot of things really makes you so happy in staying there.

Pros:

Close to the airport. We got an upgrade to a bigger room, very comfy bed, super clean. The owner is a very nice lady, she gave us advice on restaurants in the area and we got some chocolates from her. Breakfast was good

I love that this boutique hotel is a family business and not corporate-run. It shows in the attention to detail and level of care. The matriarch, Cecelia, is so friendly and helpful and so are her children. I enjoyed the soft instrumental music in the lobby area and they stock some fun board games at a table there. Breakfast on the terrace which overlooks the golf course was fantastic. We were fortunate enough to book this hotel for our first and last night in Costa Rica. Secure parking is provided and the San Jose International Airport is conveniently close. If we ever return to San Jose, we definitely will book there again!
