Pros:

food was exceptional, not what you’d expect. price was good. multiple pools, multiple places to eat and a tower for the views. i’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and i’d definitely return back to this one.

beds are uncomfortable but not terrible

Star gazing beacon
Pros:

Has easy drive up unloading and several luggage carts.. 2 adult pools and a kiddie pool outside And an indoor pool and hot tub. Bed was very comfortable

Cons:

No standard ice machine in the tower— each room has a mini ice maker you pour water into, but very difficult to make sure persona with bad intentions havent left something in it.. and a suite needs more than a tiny mini fridge

We had an amazing time and will be coming back. The kids loved it.

The resort was very outdated. Pictures are deceiving.
Pros:

It was good to have an onsite bar and grill. The pool area was nice.

Cons:

The place had a stale moldy smell to it. We had to go to the store and get air freshener to keep the room smelling ok. You can tell they've tried to update the place a little but it's still like staying in an average motel instead of a resort.

I have always loved going to Tanglewood. My grandmother used to play bridge there. Great place for families. Lots of activities.

Relaxing getaway
Pros:

Tower theme room was spacious and comfortable, indoor pool and hot tub was nice as it was raining during my stay

Cons:

No ice available in tower— there was a small in room ice machine, but it had left over water in it, so not sure when it was cleaned last and did not use
