I love the variety of hot tubs the property has, and the spacious very comfortable rooms.
I also find it a very comfortable walk to the main strip of restaurants, while being far enough away t one very peaceful.
I wish checkout time were later but perhaps the extra time is why the rooms feel well kept up.
Location was perfect and quiet. Room was large and had a kitchen
Check-in was late and checkout really early. Tub shower was a bit sketchy.
Spacious room. Historic old Palm Springs neighborhood. Walking or biking easy to old town Palm Springs. Lovely staff
The place is historic and full of character. The tennis courts with mountain views are absolutely beautiful.
The sofa bed wasn’t prepared when we arrived, even though they knew the booking was for four people.
The hotel had a great proximity to downtown, about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the downtown area. It had a really nice restaurant (Spencer's) that was 2 minutes walking. Although we didn't utilize the facilities, it had nice tennis courts and pool area that was well shaded. The hotel lobby was beautiful with stunning views of the mountain in the morning and during sunset.
I would also like to add that our room was spacious. Air conditioning worked well and water pressure in the shower was great.
We had room 313. It was a suite with a kitchenette. Although comfortable for the two days that we were there, it seemed a bit outdated and could've had a few more modern updates.
Muligheden for at spille tennis
Check in er kl 16:30, check out allerede kl 10:30. Det gjorde at vores to dage på stedet blev meget korte. Book dette sted for tennis, og ellers vælg at bo et hyggeligere sted.
Very friendly staff, easy stroll into downtown Palm Springs (and handy grocery store), lovely apartment with private patio and great view of the nearby mountain. Quiet. Nearby pools and spas. Nice landscaping. All very clean and well-tended. We will definately return to this property. On-site Spencer's Restaurant was wonderful.
I was very disappointed to learn that they are unable to guarantee a particular room in future. It's just the nature of their reservation policy, but we had hoped to be able to reserve the room we had, and that we liked very much. Not possible.
Cleanliness, location, amenities
Outdoor furniture could use upgrading
Proximity to attractions.
Excellent location in a quiet area by the mountains, and a few blocks away to shopping stores, bars and restaurants. We loved everything since arrival. The staff at the desk were super nice and attentive at anytime, always ready to help with a smile. Our suite room was clean and comfortable. The suite has a kitchenette with everything for a nice meal, including dishwasher. It’s separated from the bed area which is a nice distribution for a suite. All amenities included were outstanding. We loved playing tennis, relaxing in the swimming pool with access to towels and jacuzzi. Coffee 24/7 and popcorn in the afternoons are a nice touch. They have a pool table, tennis table, and more amenities including bikes, game boards, puzzles, etc. Everything for all tastes. The cleaners and workers were always nice and helpful. We were treated with care and respect.
Everything was superb.
The owners / time share people- would place their towels on the best lounge chairs and just leave- We watched day after day as one woman would put a towel on 4 chairs and that was that- we had to chase the sun because the best chairs were empty- except for a towel.
Breakfast is not included but available nearby at Spencer's Restaurant.
Location was fine. Kitchen area was small but well equipped.
Completely inaccessible for disabled person - one has to enter via a flight of stairs before checking in. And after checking in but before having a room key, we could get into the garage but not from the garage into the building. Intercom broken - obviously not recently. Called to ask about EV charging, was assured it existed; wasn't told it was max 2 hours or that 1 of 3 chargers was not working. Our room was tired and worn (a tear in the headboard!) and everything was stiff and hard to operate -- the bathroom door, the bathroom faucets, light switches. We had a lamp with a broken cord - that was a fire hazard. We borrowed DVDs from the front desk but realized we had no DVD player in the room. Maintenance guy came and fixed that as well as the lamp - said the only new thing in the room was the TV, which we had to SIGN IN to watch! (And I mean to watch anything, not apps.) How useless. And we had a family emergency and had to leave a day early; front desk night clerk said go through Booking.com for a refund but when Booking asked the hotel, he said they would say yes; as you may have guessed, the hotel did not say yes. I wasn't surprised by that but I didn't appreciate being lied to. Overall would most definitely NOT recommend.
