It was ok but expensive
Pros:

Staying in the rooms across the road from main hotel the rooms are large with kitchen and dining area. Location of hotel is excellent

Cons:

Sofa in rooms is like sitting on rocks. The patio furniture is very old some broken. The pool furniture is Dirty old. No cushions. Towels not provided.

Very comfortable Palm Springs stay!
Pros:

Staff were very nice. Pool and pool area was nice. I liked the more secluded location but still close to downtown. Well appointed rooms and very comfortable. I always like to get around by bike so it was nice to have access to these.

Cons:

Small point, the bikes were not well maintained. One had a loose rear axle, one with a loose bottom bracket, and several were just in need of a little TLC. I'd suggest maybe asking a local bike tour shop to have a mechanic look at all of the bikes a couple times a year in exchange for some free on-site advertising?

Really enjoyed our stay at this unique hotel!!
Pros:

Loved our stay at this unique hotel soaking up the historic Hollywood charm, relaxed vibe, great location, very clean large studio/kitchenette room in the main hotel. Easy access to pools, spa pool, tennis courts, on-site below ground parking, laundry, and a short walk to many restaurants. You could even play as a tennis sub and they would set you up with a tennis match. It was very hot during the record heat of March, thus the open air spaces were hot, but our rooms were very comfortable. The availability of coffee, tea, and popcorn in the game room were a nice touch and the many outdoor grilling areas allowed us to grill out with the kitchenette was especially nice for making breakfasts. The staff was helpful to let us know about the pool across the street at the bungalows vs. the pool near the main hotel as patrons had access to both. It was very quiet during our stay and didn't have any issues with the wifi/connectivity.

Cons:

Only a few minor suggestions - Mainly to highlight the unique aspects of the hotel to take advantage of the many ammenities and to stock the kitchenette with a non-stick pan for breakfasts.

Fantastic, beautiful and peaceful place to relax.
Pros:

I love the variety of hot tubs the property has, and the spacious very comfortable rooms.

I also find it a very comfortable walk to the main strip of restaurants, while being far enough away t one very peaceful.

Cons:

I wish checkout time were later but perhaps the extra time is why the rooms feel well kept up.

Great Location for a Nice Price
Pros:

The hotel had a great proximity to downtown, about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the downtown area. It had a really nice restaurant (Spencer's) that was 2 minutes walking. Although we didn't utilize the facilities, it had nice tennis courts and pool area that was well shaded. The hotel lobby was beautiful with stunning views of the mountain in the morning and during sunset.
I would also like to add that our room was spacious. Air conditioning worked well and water pressure in the shower was great.

Cons:

We had room 313. It was a suite with a kitchenette. Although comfortable for the two days that we were there, it seemed a bit outdated and could've had a few more modern updates.

Handsome, historic property in lovely neighborhood, short stroll into downtown Palm Springs.
Pros:

Very friendly staff, easy stroll into downtown Palm Springs (and handy grocery store), lovely apartment with private patio and great view of the nearby mountain. Quiet. Nearby pools and spas. Nice landscaping. All very clean and well-tended. We will definately return to this property. On-site Spencer's Restaurant was wonderful.

Cons:

I was very disappointed to learn that they are unable to guarantee a particular room in future. It's just the nature of their reservation policy, but we had hoped to be able to reserve the room we had, and that we liked very much. Not possible.
