Enjoyable overall.
Pros:

Nice comfortable bed with a bathroom which had a bath a real treat. Good location with parking nice open fire in the bar.Room was lovely and spacious parking good.

Cons:

Toilet seat was ill fitting and moved around. The breakfast was ok nothing special didn’t feel freshly cooked. Bar area had a lovely fire place but tables and chairs design felt out of place. Music was too loud and unnecessary.

Pros:

Well-located with respect to my meeting

Cons:

This hotel "met my expectations" because I was told what to expect by colleagues in advance. It is well-situated but a bit tired and worn. The heating in my room was not very effective, and there was no heating at all in the bathroom.

Cute inn in the heart of Wallingford with great food/staff and access to all the places around town.
Pros:

The staff was what really sold us on our stay here. They were so great both at the front desk and in the pub. The food at breakfast seemed a little pricy for what we got, but it was good. We ate dinner in the pub twice and it was absolutely delicious. In fact, we had the same thing both days because it was so good.

I had also emailed a lot of questions prior to my stay with some requests and all were met and answered. Really enjoyed it, would absolutely return here.

Cons:

Nothing

Spoiled by the disgraceful £60 fine, for which the hotel were to blame
Pros:

Nice location

Cons:

Staff incompetence. They advertise free parking but did not tell us we had to register our car electronically as well as in the registration form. We a week later received a £60 fixed penalty notice and the hotel failed despite my request to get it cancelled. So we then had to pay an extra £60 to the car park mgmt. Disgracefully poor service.

Pros:

Breakfast and breakfast waitress were delightful

Cons:

Room was freezing unlike the corridor outside. A colony of tiny spiders were occupying the bathroom. Sink taps loose. Considering the hotel was virtually empty, why was I given the worst room. I suspect because I booked through booking.com at a cheap rate. Bath needs ripping out and a decent shower cubicle installed.
