The room and bed were very comfortable. Excellent shower. The evening meals were delicious with a great choice. The beef pie was to die for. The Bombardier bitter was superb, a well kept pint.
No issues
We are mature cyclists on a linear journey. This was a convenient place to stay in terms of distance and location.
Outwardly the building looks more mature than us but inside it appeared to be thoroughly refurbished.
Meals were good, service friendly . Bike storage good.
Nothing really
Good location close to town centre. Parking. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good service. Pleasant stay in an interesting and attractive place close to the river for walks on the Thames Path.
Bath needed a bit of minor maintenance. Shower was a bit full-on and not very controllable.
Breakfast was tasty
Nothing
Lovely building really nice room and great food
Fabulous location, and lovely staff.
Clean tidy good service nice lunch in bar one of best burgers
We booked a superior room pictures showed a bay window - we were put in attic with a small double bed !!! It was only for one night but why do people think they can take advantage of short stayers because they rarely complain like us ?
Le style, l'accueil et le Fish and chips délicieux !! On est ici bien accueilli.
Le petit déjeuné est typiquement Anglais et savoureux à souhait.
L'isolation phonique de la chambre allouée.
The hotel has some nice traditional, beamed features. The bedroom was small but adequate. The bath had great running water, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and some traditional features to decorate the room.
Breakfast was the norm, of fruit, cereals, English plus kippers if you wanted.
The courtyard was very pleasant to relax with a drink before moving elsewhere within the village.
Sometimes found the room room key a little difficult to insert but otherwise no real issues in regards our stay.
Great location, good decor. Lovely food and well trained team.
Almost perfect, a topper on the mattress would have made it a 10
