I had a great stay. I just wish there was an inside pool and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Overall great stay would stay again! Would recommend to others!
Pros:

Enjoyed the lake and fire pit. Surrounding areas!

Cons:

Always had to wait for bacon at breakfast! Not enough served at once. Then served only a few slices for a line of people.

It was nice.
Pros:

Location was good, there was plenty of stuff around. Clean, friendly staff, there was no pool. But overall it was a nice place and I’d stay here again.

Cons:

Lighting in the room, aside from the window, was kinda dark. The bathroom lighting could have had a brighter option on the vanity.

Unpleasant Stay
Pros:

This hotel was recently renovated and it seemed OK at first, but then we opened the fridge and it smelled like fish. A crew member was nice enough to find some bleach for us to wipe down the fridge, but that should have been discovered before our stay. Next, they cut the water off around 1pm because they had a leaky pipe. I'm not sure what time it came back on because I left at 6pm for an event....too bad I couldn't shower before! I returned around 11pm only to discover they had no fresh towels because the water had been off all day. I was told I could wait 40 minutes while they washed! All of this could be forgiven if the front desk clerk seemed apologetic, but instead she seemed bothered I asked about the water being turned off and whether I could get a fresh towel.

Disappointing Stay for a Loyal BONVoy Member
Pros:

Arrived 6JUL25 roughly 7:30pm. After checking in, and entering our room, we noticed a strong, unpleasant odor, like cooked fish. We informed the Manager on Duty, who provided an air machine that unfortunately didn't resolve the issue. When we requested to move to a similar room, the manager declined, stating they couldn't accommodate the change because the room was prepaid through a third party. The representative behind the desk seemed far more concerned about their personal food delivery that evening and disappeared after receiving their dinner before returning to provide assistance. A long time Bon Voy member this was a disappointing visit.

Pros:

Checked in on a Sunday afternoon. No housekeeping service by Thursday, so went to the front desk Thursday morning. Front desk staff said "I" signed up for NO housekeeping for my week stay. I said who in the world would NOT want their room cleaned during their WEEK stay? Normally housekeeping comes every other day in other properties I've stayed at. She then said "you're in luck, housekeeping hasn't shown up yet and I'll put you on their board." Came back to my room Thursday evening and still no housekeeping. Friday morning I AGAIN went to the front desk and said housekeeping didn't show up. They said they informed housekeeping and didn't know why they didn't show up. I came back to my room after work on Friday afternoon, and the room was still not cleaned. It finally was cleaned for the first time a couple of hours after I left to eat dinner. There's plenty of other places to stay in Ridgeland.....
