Great bunch of people working in the hotel.
Pros:

I liked the property’s location and the amenities inside the hotel. The weather was bad so it was good to have good restaurants etc

Awesome Time
Pros:

Wanted to try something other then a chain Hotel. This place was awesome and excessed expebtations. Staff was friendly and helpful when asked questions about the Hotel and surrounding area.

Edgewater has gone downhill
Pros:

Room was dingy, drapes stained, food was marginal and service well below par. This used to be a great hotel, let's hope it becomes ont again.

We LOVE this hotel
Pros:

We stayed for a night (just to get away) with the kiddos. The experience was amazing. From the food at the Statehouse restaurant to the ice skating to the view and comfy room. We would recommend this place 1000x over!!!

The perfect hotel for a winter stay in Madison!

Beautiful hotel for a cozy winter staycay!

We enjoyed time at the spa, breakfast and dinner with the beautiful lake views at the cozy restaurant with excellent service, and comfy rooms with a beautiful view of the lake. It was very cold in Madison, but we were very cozy inside this lovely hotel.

Amazing hotel and experience in a cool city
Pros:

There’s no doubt that the city of Madison is a pretty cool place with the lakes, the state capital and the university. Fortunately, the city has a beautiful, lakefront hotel property that encompasses all of those attributes with the Edgewater. We went to Wisconsin for a Packer game and are really glad we had the opportunity to stay in Madison at the Edgewater. The property is all decked out for Christmas and the vibe was great in the bar and restaurant. The staff is “over the top” accommodating and welcoming.
Every great city should have a great - non chain- classy hotel like this.

It's the best!
Pros:

We love to stay at The Edgewater! We have a student at UW-Madison and have enjoyed many stays at this beautiful hotel. The rooms are great, Augie's Tavern is awesome (especially after a football game), the location can't be beat and the view is wonderful. I would like to give a shoutout to Jess at registration - who helped us out of a bind. She is an amazing ambassador for the hotel and a rock star for sure! Thank you for another wonderful stay!
