Beautiful hotel, exceptional views and great location.
Pros:

Location was great - close to the bus stop but also within walking distance of the downtown area.
The funicular ride to get up to the hotel was a bonus!
Buffet breakfast was great with lots of options and choices.
Staff were very attentive and helpful.
View was spectacular!

Cons:

Would have liked to have visited the Beach Club, but the weather was not the greatest when we were there.

Tolles, sehr gut geführtes Hotel an etwas erhöhter Lage mit Blick auf den See.
Pros:

Es hat alles gestimmt: vom sehr freundlichen Empfang, dem tollen Eckzimmer bis zum reichhaltigen und gut organisierten und sorgfältig zubereiteten (Fruchtsalat!)Frühstück!
Das tolle Wetter war noch das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. In diesem Hotel weiß jede Person, was sie zu tun hat.
Da kommen wir sehr gerne wieder:)

My memory runs back to the great view of the lake from my balcony and to the soft atmosphere with music at the Louis bar

From the warm welcome upon arrival to the moment of departure, it was a truly memorable experience: the courtesy of the reception, the first-class restaurant, and the marvelous view of the lake from the balcony of my room. The atmosphere of yesteryear in the Louis Bar, accompanied by relaxing music, is a special memory. The only area for improvement I can suggest is the size of the bathroom, which, while well-appointed, was small compared to the sumptuous room and deserves a redesign. An experience to be repeated

World class hotel
Pros:

This was one of my favorite hotel stays I have ever experienced. We had a corner room with two balconies overlooking lake Lucerne. The bed was fabulous, the noise level nonexistent, and the room was perfectly clean and well furnished. Breakfast at the hotel was a delight and the cable car ride to the Lakeside from the hotel lobby is just so cool.

The way to go; Art Deco
Pros:

Once again, Switzerland was very expensive but we'd go back there in a flash. Lucerne is a beautiful city. Many scenic attractions and small enough to get around on foot, if you're fit! Again, this hotel was recommended for us by family, as was Zurich. Very nice rooms and facilities but once again, the rooms and bathrooms are quite small compared to Australian standards. The most beautiful location overlooking the lake with an excellent covered outdoor restaurant during the day. A bespoke bar for pre dinner drinks and very chic. Could easily be used for a film set. Restaurant? Not bad but A$600 for 2 people and the waitress expected a tip! She simply wasn't worth it, sorry. This is pretty high-end accommodation but, what the heck. Were on holidays and Lucerne was simply magical.

Excellent stay! The staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. The views are beautiful!

Cons:

It was pretty warm in Lucerne and not having the AC’s running in April was a little odd. They did give us a fan for the stay (on our request) so that was good! Just maybe something for the hotel to keep in mind!

Excellent service in a perfect location.
