A very tired looking building inside, breakfast was ok. The bed was comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful
Pros:

The history of the building was great, however due to the age of the building it was very dated inside and was very tired looking. However, in fairness this was reflective of the price we paid, so the hotel wasn’t charging more than it should. It was a cheap night away.

Cons:

Again due to the age of the building it didn’t have air con and we did stay in the heat wave so it was a very uncomfortable night. The receptionist was great though he did find us another fan.

Good hotel. Good location. The staff so friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

The only thing I found was that they only put two milk on your tray for coffee and tea. So got some more from reception.

Short Break
Pros:

Was a short walk in Leamington Spa.
Nice bar area

Cons:

We had to change rooms, booked a basic double room, on arrival, it was, in our opinion a single room with a double bed. Paid extra to upgrade to a "normal" size double.
Away from public areas, corridors needed painting, some carpeted areas needed either deep clean, or replacing
