It was near the OVO venue
The rooms were dirty and our beddings had stains. The first staff member we encountered at the reception area wasn’t welcoming and friendly. But the other lady next to her was very helpful and friendly but we didn’t get either of their names.
Good location in a nice area of Glasgow and close to the SEC, room was quiet, spacious and well equipped, breakfast was good, all in all it was a good stay during my conference week in Glasgow...
... but the hotel management was not very customer-friendly (regarding issuing of invoice and extension of stay) which spoilt the impression of the hotel.
The staff were not very welcoming on arrival. Bathroom was diabolical. Mould in the shower tray and down the side. The top tap was not secure. Beds were really uncomfortable. My room number was 101
Friendlier staff. I am a platinum member. That seems to count for nothing. Even a welcome back statement would have been nice.
The cleanliness of the room could have been 100% better.

Beds are small (double) even though the size of the room can easily accommodate a king size bed.

The location was excellent for the purposes of my visit.
The room decor was dark, the sink n the bathroom was too small, water spilling out, the shelf above the sink impeded being able to wash. The shower leaked water onto the floor, the shower temperature was variable hot and cold and ineffective. Another significant event in the room has been reported to staff.
