The Resident Soho

We stayed here for two nights, 7 and 8 May. One of the reasons we booked here was the location. It’s handy for the theatres, eating out and shopping. Close to Tottenham Court Road tube station which is good for northern line connections to Euston.
The team are fabulous, very welcoming and helpful. Our room looked out towards Soho square and was a good size, and very quiet. The sink and fridge with plates and crockery are very helpful. It was all very clean and the most comfortable bed with lovely bedding.
We very much enjoyed staying here and would definitely return - the staff really make the difference.

Our 6-night stay at The Resident Soho was absolutely wonderful. They are, by far, the most hospitable team we have ever had the pleasure of staying with! Every single member of the front office was incredibly warm and truly made us feel at home. They never failed to greet us, always checked in on what we needed, and were exceptionally sweet to our daughter. Every evening, they went out of their way to ask about our daily tours and activities.
We were so pleasantly surprised and grateful that our room was beautifully made up every single day—coming "home" to a clean space made us so happy. Their restaurant recommendations were always spot on, and we deeply appreciate their flexibility in granting us a late check-out for our late flight. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our family!

First trip to London with family.
Resident Soho delivered a ‘wow’ experience for my daughter, my sister, and me. From the moment we entered the premises, the staff members were so accommodating and made us feel so welcome.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Our stay was further elevated by the fresh, stylish decor. Housekeeping staff did a great job. After each long day of sightseeing, we returned to a room that was tidy, restocked, and refreshed. All we had to do was unwind and relax.
Resident Soho’s location is interesting. It is tucked away on Carlisle, a quiet side street that, in a few steps, opens up to a busy and bustling main road. Despite being so close to the main road, our room, on the third floor, was quiet and peaceful. We all slept soundly.
We extend special thanks to front-desk associate Ayush with whom we had the most interaction and who made sure we were well taken care of, throughout our stay. We so appreciate Ayush and all of the other staff members at Resident Soho. If we ever visit London again, there’s no question where we’d stay: Resident Soho is the place to be!

This place is just the one I chose for already 3y+. It’s in the heart of the magic soho area; reception is excellent. rooms are very cosy. The whole experience is just a charm ! And this is why I keep coming back and enjoying!

Located in vibrant SoHo with busy bars and restaurants within a minutes walk, and Oxford Street just five minutes away The Resident was an excellent choice for a weekend break. I have to say that the front of house staff were all extremely professional and welcoming. The room was very clean, found it all to be at a good standard. Definitely would stay there again.

The location of this hotel is perfect if you want to be in the heart of Soho but have a quiet hotel. We enjoyed the restaurants and nightlife and even saw a show. Everything is walking distance and there are subways everywhere of course.

The service here was exceptional. Whenever we needed something, they went above and beyond. We will be back.

We loved staying here! Located in Soho, we enjoyed being able to walk out the door and access endless selections of pubs, restaurants, venues for entertainment... the British Museum was a pleasant walk, and for further trips both the Central and Northern lines (as well as the Elizabeth Rail Line) were an easy walk. Being in the heart of Soho, we were suprised at how quiet and relaxed the hotel was. While there is no in-hotel food service we had easy walks to any meals we desired.

We did not use the room service options for wine/snacks, given the many places right outside the door, but it seemed very convenient and had a good selection of snacks and drinks.

Our room was comfortable for our 6 night stay - we'll be back here for sure.

I recently did an extended vacation to Europe, starting with a transatlantic cruise and ending in Edinburgh; however, prior to Edinburgh, I spent a week in London's SoHo area and stayed at The Resident Soho. The hotel is in a great part of London, with many walkable sites nearby - smack dab in the middle of the theater district, and near many great restaurants and shops.

The hotel itself is at the end of a relatively quiet street in the bustling area. Check in was a pleasant experience, as was every interaction I had with the staff. All were very friendly and helpful. The room was well maintained and modern, and included a small kitchenette which was extremely useful during my week there. (Tip: If you go, check out the M&S Food Hall on Oxford Street. I visited it just about every day and kept my mini-fridge stocked.) There was the aforementioned mini-fridge, a kettle, coffee maker, purified water dispenser, flatware, plates, glasses, etc. The bath had great water pressure and the provided towel warmer was a nice addition.

The room was advertised as "soundproofed," and it was truth in advertising for a change. Although there was a lot of foot traffic in the area, and cars nearby, the room was an oasis of quiet. Furnishings were new and clean, and the carpeting (particularly the hallway) appeared to have been recently replaced. Overall, it was a great stay. Thanks to the front desk staff and housekeeping for doing a great job. I hope to return if I make it back to London.
