6 hours sleep in 3 days. Noisy and allot of students up all night banging doors, wouldn’t return if you paid me

While place is very tired and run down. Room was grim, grout in bathroom and sealant mouldy, door broke, carpets stained, paintwork peeling, bed was lumpy

Old hotel that’s getting older needs some investment but staff top notch and working so very hard as there weren’t many

Breakfast-good. Should like to have seen a better availability and selection of yogurts.

Cons:

Awkwardness with the room key.apparently placing the key near to a mobile phone wipes the code on the key-we did not realise this and had to return to reception on three occasions to get the key activated again.

Lots of parking availability, efficient reception on arrival. Room very clean and bed comfortable. Lots of room - desk, table and 2 chairs. Bar food tasty - charcuterie and cheese boards. 11 am is a civilised check out time!

Cons:

Some communication issues between teams. Bar staff didn't know wifi password, so sent us to reception on another floor, only to be told no password was needed! Some of furnishings are a little tired - veneer lifting on table for example.

Disappointing

Lovely building, staff were polite.

Very basic room, no frills
We specifically booked this hotel as we wanted access to a swimming pool and a jacuzzi, we were very disappointed to find that the indoor pool and jacuzzi had no heating at all, the water in both was freezing, far to cold to.ait in the jacuzzi and if you go in the pool after just a few minutes you were so cold you needed to get out to warm up, tbh we will be putting an official complaint in as it wasn't mentioned anywhere that the pool and jacuzzi were unheated.

We could of stayed else where for half the price and just gone without the pool.
