Stayed here many of times for meadowhall and Gulliver's valley. Pool is quite cool but in this heat it was welcomed. Staff were very helpful, especially when we had to keep asking for help with the heat in our room which they went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Pool area is clean and kid friendly. It's just very Ideal for a mini vacation vibe.
Nothing not to like. The rooms are not air-conditioned, which is hard in this heat but let's be honest many hotels/b&bs aren't so you just have to cope.
Lovely place to relax, even with children, after a day at Yorkshire wildlife park. The grandchildren5 and 9) loved the pool do much they got up early to swim before breakfast.
One table light flickered when turn on but we just reported it .
The spa facilities were amazing.
The room wasn't very clean. Walls are thin, we experienced a very noisy overnight stay as there was a wedding at the hotel, so the noise was going on late into the early hours. The lights kept crackling and turning on and off.

Poor restaurant nothing ready and gresdy
The location was absolutely perfect for what we needed and where we needed to go.
The key card kept disconnecting so we had to go back to reception to get it rescanned.
The meal we had in the restaurant was very good, and the staff were very pleasant and attentive.
