The hot tub was very cold and very uncomfortable the pool.was also very cold too

The hot tub was very cold and very uncomfortable the pool.was also very cold too, me and partner will never go there again and there was also guests that also said they wanted a good time in the pool and hot tub, we complained at the reception and they said it was cause of maintenance there was nothing going on, the pool and hot tub should be comfortable not ice cold will never got to this hotel again

I really enjoyed the whole experience.
Pros:

It was excellent, the amenities were very good. The building and surroundings were neat and tidy, the staff were very helpful and efficient. Overall it was excellent.

A nice hotel but could do better.
Pros:

Nice hotel reception area, nice room, very clean, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom.

Cons:

Smell of marijuana in corridor, seeping into my room, requiring window to be opened - very unpleasant.

Impossible to get hot water from sink tap, unable to prevent bath tap running whilst using the shower, switching valve faulty. Shower temp luke warm - I think the plumbing is showing its age.

Charged considerably more to extend stay by another night, despite cheaper price showing online - if I hadn't been feeling unwell I'd have left and stayed elsewhere, a rather poor statement of the management values and customer service, certainly not designed to encourage repeat business or recommendations.

A good range at breakfast, but very surprised to find the hot foods (sausage, bacon etc) sitting in unheated serving dishes, so rather cool to eat by 8:30 when I breakfasted - I ate it as I had an appointment, but I could imagine others being less tolerant.

I don't usually leave such concerns in reviews, but this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel - I think that's proving rather aspirational.
