A very disappointing stay. Not nearly good enough.

The building is spectacular and the views unsurpassable.
We were in a 5th floor ocean view room which was very large with a lovely bathroom and outlook.

Cons:

For the cost of the accommodation, there were many aspects that were lacking and I would not be able to recommend it.
Although the bathroom was lovely, the towels were absolutely tiny and were very thin and worn. My parents were staying in another room and mentioned the same. My husband is an average size man and the towel was not acceptable. There were only 2 towels in our room, so we were unable to utilise an additional towel if required.
The bed was not comfortable and did not match the supposed standard of the hotel.
The rooms were also very sparsely decorated and felt like they were lacking both furniture and artwork.
The included breakfast was very average. Not only did the dining room feel dirty, the food on offer at the buffet was substandard. Examples of this were bacon that was almost raw and eggs that were overcooked and cold.
The tables in the dining room were sticky and the coffee machine had a queue of about 20 people. We gave up waiting in the end.
We have stayed at the RACV Cape Schank previously and it was a completely different experience.

Pros:

View fantastic, room very large and spacious.

Cons:

The person that greeted me at check in wasn't very warm or welcoming. Ithought the breakfast was a bit average fro the price. Tomatoes completely tasteless, not a great selection of food
