It was close to the airport
The pillows were uncomfortable, soft in some places hard in the others. The floors throughout the entire room were filthy. The stovetop had no markings on it to indicate high-low settings. The crockery, utensils and cookware were all dirty.
Proximity to airport.
We are both high level executive managers who have not and will never take advantage of a property. We arrived late, approx 8pm and my husband did the check in. We were given a slightly bent key by staff, but didn’t think to question it.
We had to leave at 4am and left the key in the room.
We have been charged $200 for bending the key !!????? This is completely unacceptable!!!
If staff provide a key to a client, why would we consider that we could be charged for this?
We have contacted the facility and they refuse to accept that it is their fault their staff provided a bent key.
Bonds are supposed to relate to issues that happen within the room, the key was provided to us in this state and it was already late for us.
We did not consider for a second that we would get charged $200 for their decision to provide it!
It should be the staff’s responsibility at reception to inspect keys before providing them.
Can you PLEASE help / intervene here.
We don’t think it’s worth them getting bad press from us over this experience.
We respectfully request the $200 bond returned.
Please advise what you can do to assist as we regularly enjoy using Booking.com and have never had this poor treatment before!

Check-in was a drama. Was never notified that $206 bond would be charged. I was told at 10.30 at night that they could not complete check in as I hadn't provided credit card. There were other people waiting for late check in too. Got inside and damages to kitchen bench, sink, shower head not stay up, wardrobe door off rail, verandah doors nit locked.

This would have to be the worst hotel we have booked in Perth to date. Not only were the two bedroom apartments not as described, the other bedroom for children are seperated from the main room by a lockable door which you can only access through another door in a hallway which is totally unsafe considering that room faces onto the highway. Both rooms had a disgusting smell, there was mould on the carpet and what looked and smelt like vomit by the door as you entered. The state and smell of the rooms was that bad that we felt no other choice but to cancel our booking and find other accomodation at the last minute on a public holiday. The hotel offered to move us to another apartment that wasnt much better, this room still smelt, the carpet was again dirty and ripped in sections. The hotel has still not responded to any of concerns or refund requests, only rejected our cancellation request. After speaking to others it seems this was also a common experience during their stay. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Cleanliness was not good and they had used a product on the hard tiled floor that was obviously the wrong product as it left the tiles slippery, with some weird film over them all. the bathroom was not clean enough at all, dirty glasses in the cupboard etc. It was a very noisy location - i take responsibility for the fact i chose somewhere close to airport so road noise is on me but the walls are thin and you can hear the other guests. I also didn't like that i had to go through 3 heavy doors to get in the unit with a key and all my luggage. Getting food nearby without a car is also very tricky as you can't easily cross the roadI would never stay there again
Bed was comfortable and the washing machine and dryer was handy.

People working in reception that day were very nice, helpful and polite. It’s nothing to be with them.
We booked this place for two reasons: first, because it’s close to the airport, and second, because it has a kitchen. However, we didn’t end up using the kitchen at all, which meant we couldn’t use the food we had bought for that night.
There is also a warning about a very sensitive alarm system, stating that if it goes off, you will be charged $1,300 on your credit card. This felt quite stressful and unnecessary.
When we arrived, the studio had a very strong and unpleasant food smell. On top of that, it was not properly cleaned — there was rice inside the microwave, sauce residue in different areas of the kitchen, some hairs in the bathroom, and the floors were not very clean. The kitchen in particular was quite disgusting, as shown in the pictures.
Overall, it was disappointing in terms of cleanliness and overall experience (plus it’s not cheap at all for what you get)!
We just booked because our flight got cancelled and we couldn’t find any other available place with “kitchen” and close to the airport. But not worth the money…
